  1. also my carbs have tors removed.. but no idle screw drilled and taped into the side like the kits have. but i was talking too a guy that has a shop in Ky, he has 6 drag shees..so i guess he should know what he's talking about but i talked too him about my carbs should it run fine without the idle screws? he said you could adjust the top of the caps so it pulls the slides up so it will idle good and it works fine. he said that he had some shees with the idle screws and some without, like mine is.. and said theres no noticable difference in power or anything. thanks for the replies.
  2. yea, i just got the banshee not long ago.. traded a wr400 to it and got some boot. banshee needs clutches so i wont be riding it, and i've only rode it a bit..couple times around the house. seems like it runs alright the way it is..starts first kick. and it has been rebuilt with a new topend recently. i thought the jetting was too small because i'm about positive with the t5 pipes and stuff it came with 280 mains. my right carb was overflowing so i took them off..cleaned them and checked the jets and those were the jet sizes. stock i think i run with the lid on.. but new clutches, air filter, and maybe few other things will be ordered tomorrow. should i go with the 27.5 pilot and get 280 - 300 main's?
  3. needing some advice on my jetting. i ride in elevations around 1500ft. temp is usually around 70 - 90 degree. i just need some advice on if i need to bump up my jetting. 01 banshee with t5 pipes, air filter, white bros boost bottle, tors removed. it's suppose to be stock bore. and carbs are stock 26mm mikuni the current jets are 200 main, and 2.8 pilots.
  4. thanks, hopefully thats all thats wrong with mine.. but i'm expecting some bad looking cluthes. im going to check everything out tomorrow hopefully, and i'll see if it's still making the noise and take a video. float is stuck on right side carb also (guessing thats it) gas was pouring from the overflow. but i think it's more than carbs, when clutch is pulled it..i can rev it up and it sounds good and runs perfect. i think i really just need to go through the quad and and do some maintenence too it. i'll post back tomorrow after i check it out..thanks
  5. hey, i'm new too bansheehq. but i was hoping you guys could give some help. i have an 01 banshee. full t5 pipes, white bros boost bottle, tors elimination kit, and i'm really not sure what else, but not alot of mods. i've only had it about a week and it needs a little carb adjusting..was going to do that today when i got the banshee out. but i let it warm up and took off on it, only rode it up the road and turned..came back down and i heard a funny noise so i stopped and just turned it off. i checked it out and decided to start it back and it sounded fine holding the clutch in but once i let the clutch out, it made a whining noise and hardly no pull.. i put the banshee in neutral and pushed it back over too my house and it also made the whining noise while pushing it in neutral.. kinda like a sport utility atv when you have it in gear turned off and push it forward, they will make a noise. but it sounds like that, i could make a video and let people check it out later if needed. and also when i started it in neutral, it seemed like it wanted to try pull a little.. so the whole being in neutral pushing it and stuff is why i was currious about it. other than that i think it just needs clutches.. any opinions? thanks
