  1. Can anyone tell me how big a difference the serval 4mill compared to the serval stock stroke is? I dont have alot of money to blow and just trying to figure out if the extra 500 for the 4mill setup is worth it to me. Im not a complete newbie but lack some experience still in motor modification like this and was wondering how much of a different process from a stock motor rebuild would a serval 4mill kit be? Any kind of case modification etc... have to be done??? Thanks
  2. I checked out the serval cylinder like yall sugested and it seems like a good deal price wise. Does the serval cylinder use a stock size piston and crankshaft?would a ported serval cyclinder produce more hp than a. Stroker ported stock cylinder?
  3. I have a stock banshee other than t-5's,toomey 2 into 1 intake, tor, just ordered adj. Stator, vforce. Im not into draging racing just dunes and trail riding. Im trying to decide which would give me the most bang for my buck? Either going with a 4mil cub or 4 mil dune port on stock cylinders. Any advice will sure help with my bansee rebuild
  4. ok i got the idle screws installed on the carbs. but now i have another problem it seems like i cant get it to start unless i tilt the banshee on its side and let the gas drain out threw the carb be4 i start it. Its like its not getting gas to the carbs or something? also i removed the airbox and installed a toomey 2 into 1 airfilter and i got t-5 pipes so i started with a 280 main jet and the clip in the middle and 1.5 out on the air screw but when i rev it up it seems like it pops alot when i take the spark plugs out and check them they r kinda a grey to brownish color does it sound like its running lean? usually their should be alittle bit of a oily residue on the plugs right? where i live is 318.4 feet above sea level in texas. also i'm gonna go ahead and have the motor ported every1 on this board says to send it 2 Jeff Wendorff but who else would yall also recommend?
  5. Ok let me start from the top, i've got a stock banshee that i have just installed toomey t-5 pipes and the tor elminator kit and also one of those adustable stator plates. I've allrdy removed the stock airbox and now waiting for a part from toomey that does away with the stock airbox. I live in East texas that is 363 feet above sealevel. where should i start as a base point on my jetting? I was gonna try a 280 main, needle in the 4th groove, and go +3 on the timing. The last thing i want to do is cease the motor up running it too lean so any help with this is really appreciated.
  6. yea i raced him on the street...do yall have any tips on syncing the carbs together ive got the tor kit installed but not sure if its sync right?? also how the hell do i get it to idle now since i put this tor kit on it will not idle and there is no idle screw to play with on these carbs?
  7. also i have a k and n filter that came with it when i bought it...should i keep running this filter or get me a uni-filter?? toomey said i need to drill holes in the airbox and others have told me to take the lid off??? What do yall think i should do?
  8. well i think what im gonna do is get everything installed and tuned right and then see where i am against the yzf and go from there. i guess if i'm still not happy with the power my next step will be the cool heads and porting

  10. I just bought a 02 stock banshee and my buddy has a stock YFZ450 that smokes me every time we race.
