what id do is find one for about a grand that was a descent amount of stuff done and just needs to be rebuilt. all the little pieces when building from the ground add up really quick!

first one to buy a trex can have the choice of the billet intakes and vf2. pretty sure i can swap them i never tried.

the vin is usually a few inches up from where the pegs bolt up. if there isnt look for indications of them grinding the vin off.. then if nothing then you have a replacement frame and i belive you can still get a title made up
the temp changes with each season yes? well adjust for it! just do what they said and keep note of where u was before you turned them. you can always go back it wont hurt anything. experiment, if you dont youll never learn!
