How much play is allowed in the rods? I checked them and one is at .08 if you slide it to one side and checked it and the other rod check .05..Just wondering if that will be alright?

Well i found a .01 kit and im a machinist and i have a guy that can do machine work right but if they dont clean up at .01 do i just go to .02 and will that kit work wth my stock rods or do i have to get different rods.

Well i decided to just do the top end for now so i can atleast ride this summer cause the girlfriend decided she wants a new bathroom so there went my plans on the big build.. But right now its a stock bore so would i go .01 or more?

So i tore it apart and seems that the bottom end is fine, im going to tear it all apart to clean it out , but my question is that how big should i bore it out and what top end kit should i get?

Yeah well i just know the bottom end has never been touched and figured i would do it all , I found a 4 mill kit online for 800 . But i know i will be spending some money for sure But it should be worth it but i dont know where to start really , when i do all that i prolly should get a new head and domes? bigger carbs? Ok well i have a 94 Shee and the motor locked up on this last week which sucked!!! But anyways Im looking to do a full rebuild (top and bottom) and i was told that since this is the third time the top end went out i have to bore it out? If so I was thinking about getting the 4mill kit going that route and was just wondering what you guys think i should do cause i mainly just ride trails and tracks so i would like to try to make it so it wont over heat and still have a lil more power then i had. All the help would be great cause i dont know where to start and i would love to get it all done before riding season is over again.. Thanks Mike

Well it still goes into neutral and other gears, i think i might just rebuild the whole thing, its 16 years old and i know the bottom end hasnt been touched at all so .. I dont want to go to wild on the build but something thats going to be great on trails and wont have to use race fuel..What do you guys think i should start with ? Srorker kit ? etc ?

So I went riding today for about a half hour with my buddys and we were racing around the track having fun and i was getting on it pretty good (all stock but LRD full Exaust system and tor elim kit) but anyways my buddy has a 450r honda and i was keeping up with him and his shit locked up and i went another round and i was coming to see them and shifted down gears and revd it up a lil bit and then i heard this big clank sound and it locked my back wheels up !!!! I dont know what happend only thing i noticed is that it was bogging down a tad bit in the corners... . Its a 94, what do you guys think it was before i tear in to it?

Yes I did ync them in as in they open at the same time, and do the slide matter which way they went back in? With the half moon in the front or back? And where would the main box be?

I just did the TOR elim kit and i dont know if i put the slides back in the right or does it matter? Its started up on the 1st try but it wont idle at all , i put the idle screws in, unhooked the tors. Do you have to unhook it from the main box too? any help would be great asap .. Thanks Mike
