  1. so carb sync tool came in the mail today great job to Jeff at FAST now it's too freakin cold outside to do anything
  2. yeah pretty much I've just been waiting on the tool from fast i think the mailman lost it
  3. no I haven't had a chance to sync them yet
  4. So I finally got everything back together and it will start up 1st kick and idles so..so... but as soon as I touch the throttle it will bog down and stall. Also if it idles for more than a couple of minutes it will rev out of control on its own and I have to hit the kill switch. It's a completely fresh rebuild top to bottom. I was thinking maybe the timing is completly off am I crazy or just stupid. heres what I'm running: athena 392 kit v-force III reeds 28mm mikuni flat slide carbs w/ 27.5 pilots and 260 mains, clip is in middle position on needle (elevation is 1100ft) mixture screws are at 1.5 turns out FMF Fatty pipes powercore II silencers Any and all ideas welcome..............
  5. oh and also running V-force 3 reeds
  6. Wondering on a starting point for jetting here's what I'm running: -392 Athena Big bore kit 68mm bore -28mm flat slide mikuni carbs -pro design billet intake w/o crossover tube -stock airbox w/ K&N pro flow kit -planning on either getting the K&N power lid or just running stock lid snorkel removed and vents -Fatty pipes -Powercore II silencers elevation is 1100 - 1200 ft mostly ride on trails just thought I'd get every1's opinion
  7. I went with the athena kit because the stock cylinders on my motor were completely trashed. I primarily ride woods/trails so I want to run the stock air box. I was also considering one of the Boss intakes that has the built in crossover tube would the 33's be to big and make the motor all top end and can I even get the carb boots to fit that size carb to run the stock air box. So far here what I already have in the motor: - Athena 68mm 392cc big bore kit - V-Force 3 reeds - going to buy FMF Fatty pipes w/ Powercore II silencers
  8. i'm rebuilding my banshee's motor with a athena 392cc big bore kit and was wondering if anyone has experience with this kit if they do what pipes and carbs (jetting for carbs as well) works best also i was planning on doing mild porting on the cylinder's as well any input would be appriciated
  9. would i need to run a different manifold to fit the v-force cages with that size or will the stock one's mount to it
  10. rebuilding a 98 banshee I want to do some mild porting on the cylinders and run v-force reeds also thinking about cool heads wondering what carbs work best with this set up and will i still be able to run pump gas with it
