Ok, so i havent taken my TORS off yet but they are def. causing a lot of problems and i dont have the eliminator yet so i need to know how to tune them back to working order. my bike doesnt even run now and i dont have the $$$ to get the kit, so if anyone can tell me how to tune these fuckers, it would be greatly appreciated!

Well i bought it from a guy who said it really didn have a whole lot of hours on it, and he just rode it around the yard with the kids or whatever, but honestly from the looks of it, he used it more than he said. Its completely stock from what i can tell, the plugs were new, the carbs had just been tuned and i re-tuned them. Like i said it was running great, no mods at all, BRAND new gas and oil, just put it in the day before, both carbs are pretty well in sync from what i can tell, everything looks the way it should, it just wont run, also, this morning i went to go try it again, it started once, ran for about a minute then died, then it wouldnt start at all, im going to try new plugs and post the results

I had my Banshee tuned up and ready to go for the weekend, was running great for the 4 days i had it out, i hadnt run it in a long long time but i got her to run great in no time and was just riding everyday to make sure it stayed that way. i put it away one night, skipped the next day then came out a day after and started it up, sounded kinda funny but i figured it was cuz it was cold. I tried to take off an immediately it bogged down and almost cut out, nothing had changed, temp. was relatively the same, no change in altitude or anything, just two days later and it wont even take off. White smoke comes from the left pipe but hardly anything from the right, and when i remove my air filter and push my throttle in with the bike off, i can see smoke floating around the inside of the right carb. Its as soon as i let off the clutch, it bogs down and wont do anything. its completely stock, my carbs were 2 turns out, my TORS is disconnected at the box(did that last night as a last ditch effort), but im not sure if that disables it completely, i run 32:1 with 93 premium.

ok, thanks, thats what i thought but figured id get an opinion from someone who actually knows about carbs, unlike my 4 stroke ass, btw i now consider my self a 2-stroke guy another question, rejetting doesnt mean i have to buy new jets does it? i just have to re-adjust? sorry if these sound retarted but this is my first 2-stroke and ive never messed with carbs in my life, hard to believe when i race an '87 Grand National and a '67 Chevelle, but they dont have carbs! ha

If i get new silencers, am i going to have to rejet? also, what are some good sounding silencers even though i have stock pipes?
-
Thanks guys, Im almost always in the woods/tight trails so what would be a good set?

Ok so Im fairly new to the 2-Stroke world, gotta say I love it. I was wondering, my '00 Banshee sounds great as it is, and its a stock exhaust, but can I bore some holes or break a bunch of bottles and make my own glasspack to make it louder or more aggressive? Im a make-your-own kind of person and hate spending a ton of money, but if thats what i have to do, ill do it.

I got a banshee a few weeks ago, barely been able to ride it. I was wondering what you guys thought would be the best trail riding set up for my 'Shee? I was thinking of doing about 36:1 fuel mix, tuning my carbs for slower ride and not always wide open, but not sure what else.....any suggestions?

Ok, so I got my Banshee a few days ago, first twostroke, carbs=confusing as hell, first with a manual clutch, my last one was 5 speed but auto clutch. My question is how do guys burnout or get there tires to spray dirt? I tried to rev it up kinda high and dump the clutch but it either bogs or stalls. I am still getting used to riding around on it and I must say, these machines are incredibly impressive. I do drive a 5 speed,1998 Firebird, and I was thinking the burnout technique is probably the same, but just havent had time to try it with hunting and all.

i think im going to go with krylon, black, and cut my front fenders, spray the rusty areas outta my frame with silver metals paint, and that should be it......now about the money situation lol
-
So I plan on cutting my front fenders here soon, I also plan on painting my plastics, but I need some opinions. Should i do just black paint, or should i use the spray on truck bed liner? I think the liner would look cool, and be durable as hell! Also what paint is reccomended for the frame metal? I have some rust issues i need to take care of.
-
No, thank you for that long ass description! Carburation to me is like calculus.....I have no idea, why not just use a fuel injection system? I dont care! My Banshee is bas ass, even bone stock lol
-
OK so, the last like....5 replies said cut 'em, cool right? Then the very last one said keep 'em, Im going to think about it for a little while, Ill probably end up doing it!
-
I was thinking of cutting my front fenders, possibly the rears too, but I ride trails, thats what I do, thats all I do. I love the look of cut fenders but.....how effective are they going through the mud if they are just not there? I was also maybe thinking of a way to snap them on if I do need them, but have yet to come up with a way to do that.
-
lol Well, like I said, this is my first two stroke, ive never had to deal with any form of carburation....so it may take me awhile haha, but Ill do my best.
-
As far as I know, its completely stock, I traded for it, it is used and he didnt say anything about aftermarket...anything. I was wondering how much it would cost if i took it to a respected dealer to have them look it over and do what needs to be done....any ideas? Again, its, as far as I know, bone stock.

So I picked up a Shee yesterday, first two stroke, must say, what an incredible bike! Today I was riding it around, between 15-20 minutes of riding, it'll get kinda boggy and Ill lose my powerband and it would backfire a little bit. It didnt sound like a .50cal. going off next to my ear, but more like one of those things you throw on the ground that snap. I would turn it off, let it sit for a little, and it would then run just fine. I dont know itf its the carb or its overheating, or something......

Ok I just bought my Shee, barely able to ride it when the sun went down, but I know for sure, the first thing Im going to investigate is, how difficult the stickers will be to take off. Any ideas to make it easier? My plan of action was to first attempt to peel them, then use Goo Gone on the remaining, if that doesnt work, Im going straight to the power washer. If anyone has anything that will make this easier, gimme a shout
