hi, thanks for the post, yes it smoks a lot, so what should i do with the plugs? i just bought new carburators from a recent model and bolt it, don't know much about it but cold be the probem, old ones had fmf gicleurs don't know much about new ones, have to check the quad is arriving next week to me so i'll take a look at the plugs and the carburators. do you know where can i get some kind of information about how to rejet it. i don't know much about it but can fix it if people like you help me. thanks very much, i'll let you know the next

hi everybody, i'm jose from portugal, got a 97 banshee that i have bought in france a few years ago. i'm gonna try to explain my prob as better as i can: last year i have stripped it down and sent the engine to a company called DPS racing in nort england to get it rebuilt, i've paid 500 british pounds for new pistons welded crank and don't know what more they have done. the thing is since i put it back it never ran as it used to run before, it is hard to start impossible to start by kick start in the morning, i have to push it then when starts first time is very easy to start all the day long, next day i have to push it down a hill again to start. sometimes run well, got power less than before, but sometimes when i pull the gears it seams like just one of the pistons is working, can run just in 1st gear and can't reach the top speed, if i go up a hill it dies even in first gear but doesn't go down i mean it reaches the top but very slowly in first gear. if i go down a hill i get good acceleration and it seams to run well, what do you think guys? in my opinion it is one of the piston i think they have put new pistons but havent redone the cylinders, can be a problem caused by clutch, electrical prob? cdi? carburators?i have allready changed the coil, someone in the knew told me that could be the coil but it wasn't. i'm living in france and i'm waiting for "her" and decid if gonna sell to spares or repair or trying to fix it myself because mecanics have differents points of view, every one tells me different problem and ask for lots of money just to haave a look. any comment will be appreciated and hellpfull. i'm a banshee lover and if i sell my machine i willll get another banshee, can't run in four strocks they're good but different. i'll post some pictures or videos since it arrives here. sorry for my bad english but is not my main language so... can speak french too or portuguese even spanish so any comment is wellcome. thanks a lot
