  3. please guys i need your help. about to chunk this thing. Pissing me off. its still hotter on the left side than the right. and forgot to mention it makes like a raddling noise on the left side and the right sounds smooth. please please need help before i go crazy.
  4. Im really new to this "working on banshees that is" so i think it is. How would i check that.
  5. Just sync my carbs with sync tool, but the left side exhaust is getting hotter than the right. Also feels like more pressure is coming out of the left pipe than the right. did compression test and both sides are around 145-150. put new seals on it, and has no leaks. can someone help me with this. thanks dont know to much but learning as i go.
  6. i got k&n pods and 650 above sea level. temp is 70 to 75 consistant.
  7. man 61 views and no replies. come on guys and know there is some one who can give me some info. Im new to this and new to working on banshee motors. so any little bit of info will help me. thanks.
  8. Got stock carbs with 300 main jets and 27.5 pilot jet, with needle set in middle. got t5s pips and exhaust, noss head 21cc, and ported to 65. timing plate set to +4. Would this setup with the jets work fine or do i need to change them. I do live in San Antonio Tx humid most of the time. And why does one pipe get hotter quicker than the other side, and more smoke seems to be blowing out one pipe more than the other. could this be that the carbs arent sync. Both cylinders in the carbs move up and down exactly as for my air flow to fuel dont know what to set that air screw on. I order an carb sync tool and new o-ring seal kit for the heads. Any info would help me out alot, thanks.
  9. thanks guys man yall have been awesome with immediate response i will do 21cc. Ill order them and let yall know how the shee is running when done. thanks again
  10. so would 21cc domes do the trick or should i go with 22cc domes. i adusted the timing plate to +4 already, and ordered oring for the head just need a exact size for domes. Ive gotten three size replies 19, 21, 22 i just need the right size dont want to spend more than i have too. thanks guys.
  11. yea it is stamp with numbers here they are and in this order. top center of piston a stamp that reads 1964G, and than under it directly in the center of the piston the stamp reads 3439 and under this stamp reads 65, 42mm. if this helps any. do i need to take a picture the pistons.
  12. i check each piston they come up flush with the bore and yes the timing plate is set right above the +5 marker. What size of jets would i need to order and do yall know where i can get new top end seal kit so i can replace the old ones. looked on ebay but they only had the regular gaskets not the rubber ones. does it make a difference and is there any specific type of 21cc domes in need to order. cause i looked and they hmi domes etc....
  13. pics uploaded on photobucket.com under lil_banshee_7
  14. If yall want a pic of my head its at the very top of this page being advertise where its say noss machine, on the very top of this forum page, and it show two head a chrome one and a red one the chrome one is exactly the one i have.
  15. O yeah on the top of my heads it does say NOSS MACHINE and also HIGH PERFORMANCE. If that helps any.
  16. whats photobuket try to upload them from my computer but error comes up.
  17. Well I do remember them saying it was ported and polished so thats for sure. i measured that spacer plate with a measuring tape and its right at an 1/2inch think. I will tell you this the person i bought it from was a performance freak. cant get a hold of the guy i bought it from to get info on it because changed his number. what is the plate gasket is that the thick aluminum plate thats right under the head if so that is what i measured.
  18. trying to post pics but and error message keeps coming up. But i do remember them saying it was ported. Another question considering i do have to change the domes would i have to change the jetting also. Right now the jet are 310 or 320 somewhere around there.
  19. Just took the head of and the aluminum plate or gasket and check the domes and their was a 17 stamped on the side of the domes. Glade I check this because in the process of taking the heads of i had a bad seal or gasket. took pictures about to upload them in a bit.
  20. I checked the timing plate and it about a notch 1/2 above the +5.
  21. yes there is a thick aluminum plate. Have not yet taken the head to check the domes.
  22. I will do that. Just want to say thanks alot guys for the help without yalls info i would have been lost. When i get it apart i will take pics and post them. asap.
  23. well, it is a 350 twin, for it being stock i know the owners before had work done on the motor. Im thinkings thats why it used race fuel. I did try using unleaded for a second there but it ran like crap. It has upgraded reeds and reed cage, toomey pipes, stock carbs but jets are i think 310 last time i checked, top of the motor where the spark plugs screw into it says high performance if that helps any. Man sorry if i sound clueless, like i said im new to this learning alittle at a time.
  24. On top of the head it says performance head, and i do know that it was port and polished. dont know the timing but will find out, for the elevation i think sea level or alittle below sea level, domes not sure but will check, and as for fuel 112 octane race fuel its like $12 a gallon. I dont know too much about this its all new to me. So if i sound like i dont know what im talking about its probably because i dont. I had a friend that knew all this stuff but i moved to san antonio so im depending on you guys for help. thanks.
