I'm from NC. Any of you guys heard of the Twister sniper motors?? Anybody got pics??

Cougar is a spread bore correct? Whats the line up from smallest to biggest. Stock,,cub,,super cub,,Cheetah,,Dm,,Dmx,,Cougar etc etc?? Theres no way i'm gonna build a tripple right off the get go. I'm leaning toward a cougar perhaps a 18 or 20mil. Should get my weight down the track nicely.

A spread bore is basically 2 individual cylinders side by side correct? What's the significance behind running a spread bore? Bigger bores? More HP? What sizes to cougars run? 14,16,18,20 mil and bigger correct?

You can powder coat lots of things to make it look good. Frame, swingarm, A-arms, front hubs, spindles, foot pegs, rear axle, rims, rear hubs, sprocket hub, brake hub. My rule of thumb is always have 2 colors to a bike. Maybe one color and chrome. Or frame blue and everything else black. Always look around and see what other people run for color combos.

CLICK HERE You want Part # 22, bearing holder Also theres an easy way to lock that bearing holder down. Take a 30mm nut and weld it to a old socket and you have your tool. Just make sure the nut is center on the socket.

Can one of you guys explain the lock-up clutch to me? is there weights on it you adjust? Any advice or tips for a new guy on a drag bike his first time out? Any tuning and setting up? I know it probably depends on what the motor and such is...

Running a big motor I hear you have to break it down ever pass or ever couple passes to check things and make solid runs, true or false? Would you happen to know what the DMX top ends are running price wise? Koolguyson would you happen to have a pic of your bike?

Thanks for all the information guys. At what point would you need to dip into the billet trans? How much HP can a cut stock trans hold up? I'm kinda leaning toward a 18mil or bigger to get all my weight down the track. Just not decided yet. What would be a better set up, Twister big block or a DMX? Not sure on how high the bores go on the twisters. I know the DMX's go up to 85mm........

Its definately not an unlimited budget lol. I definately wanna get a ridgid frame with all light weight componets I.E spindle mounts, JJ&A aluminum axle etc.etc.etc...... I definatly dont just wanna buy a bike. Id rather build one from the ground up...
