  1. yeah, I kicked it about ten times on each cylinder testing it to make sure it wans't a bad reading. I just broken down and bought a clymers manual online 30 bones. How will I know if I need to hone out the cylinder? And yes, the jugs are still on. I really just want to keep the bike stock b/c I don't know that much and scared I am gonna fuck something up, you know?
  2. I havw cleaned all carbs and sync'd them, new plugs, and tested compression and new 1/4 lines on carbs. I have done all the above, I need and answer b/c the bike is up for sale and really need to sell it b/c I am going back into the military and leaving in next 2 weeks. I don't have time to shake my willie and need and answer so I can get the damn bike fixed ASAP. Know what I mean buddy?
  3. yeah, got to upload em. says file is too big, damn it.
  4. I thought this was a forum where we can ask questions and the experienced can help out? Chris
  5. How do you know when the rings on pistions are bad? Piston has carbon build-up on it. This normal? Just broken down the motor and looked...... Hard as hell to kick start it--compression was bad..... And radiator was dead empty.
  6. Ok, just took off the motor and took head off. Are the piston rings suppose to spin freely? The pistions have a good bit of carbon on them. Is this normal? The needle bearings look like they are in good condition. What you think? Chris
  7. This may be crazy but Im still learing abit. So when I checked the compression I took out one plug and inserted the tested by screwing it in--kept the other plug in. Then I kicked the bike hard and it read 35-50. The only way the bike starts if I jump it in 2nd gear--pushing it or pulling it with a vehicle and barely wants to start....but can get it running.....
  8. Hi, Does anyone know where I can get help (manual etc) to change out stock pistons? Also, what are the factory oem pistions size (is it 64mm)? I need to change both pistions--compressions is reading between 35-50 on both cyclinders. Thanks sguys, Chris
  9. I have a 2006 banshee that needs a set of pistion and rings, willing to trade for a boat..... Call 225-698-3248 or 225-348-2353
