  1. Probably not one in my future but you never know. I do more reading than talking here, just like PlanetSand I enjoy reading the banter between racers :)

  2. An ATV/OHV operating permit that is issued in another state shall be honored in the State of Oregon if the issusing state also honors an Oregon ATV operating permit. Oregon will honor off road permits from the following states: Alaska Arizona California Idaho Illinois Indiana Missouri Montana Nevada North Dakota Pennsylvania South Carolina Utah Vermont Washington Wisconsin Source: http://www.oregon.gov/OPRD/ATV/reciprocity.shtml
  3. Just a small correction. Banshee Hill does not look to be on the chopping block any longer. The USFS proposal indicated Banshee Hill as a "Designated Trail", meaning it would be one of the only trails left open. Thanks for all your support guys.
  4. We don't run any Shees but know some of the folks on here and ride the Oregon Dunes a few dozen weekends a year. Always fun to gather, eh?
  5. My wife and i will both be traveling 9 hours each way from Seattle be there to support keeping land open to OHV use. Keep in mind, this group doesn't make the decisioon, legislators do. This is only a work group put together (like a committee) to gather information, discuss options and make a recommendation to those who will actually make the decision. Convincing these guys that their recommendations shoudl include reasons why this needs to stay open is only part of the battle. The legislators are really the ones wioth the final say. The the eco terrorists have the funds to buy these legislators. The results and recommendations of this work group are but one flea on the dog when you look at the big picture. Sure as the sun rises in the east, legislators need one thing money can't buy and that's votes. If enough people contact their legislators and let them know that their vote will go to those who support public land use for everyone, including OHV users, we have a chance at delaying the full closures. Exactly. They keep taking it away a little at a time, which is what they're trying to do more of now. Not too many OHV enthusiasts seem to really care. I hear them say things like "it's not like they're closing it all or anything, right?" I'm not sure when my off road loving bretheren, as a group, plan to join me in the fight to keep our land available but I can tell you this. If folks don't start stepping up soon, doing more than bitching on forums, we'll all be trading in our bikes for bowling shoes cause the eco terrorists are closing land to OHV use at a record pace.
  6. Yep, these progressive liberals are a lot like trust fund babies... 1. They don't know or care where the money comes from 2. They assume the money will never run out no matter how recklessly they behave with it 3. They are in pursuit of some cause, often a pointless one, that can help define them and make them feel like a good person
  7. Possible. Please email me [email protected]
  8. Santa bring anybody a new set of hubs that would free up their old ones?
  9. I need one set of early year rear wheel hubs with the 4x156 bolt pattern. I think it was 1989 and 1990 that they had this pattern. Thanks. [email protected]
