I put an adjustable timing plate on my banshee and it started up and idled great...that is until my pick-up hit my flywheel. It put a decent burr on the flywheel magnets and detroyed the pick-up. After which I have no spark, obiously. I replaced the magneto and pick-up with a brand new one as well as a flywheel (used off ebay) to help troubleshooting. Now I am struggling with a spark (weak one at best) and no spark at all. I have disconnected kill switches and checked connections 2-3 times. I read on another forum on Banahee HQ that it is possible to test the flywheel output using a test light. I am getting a constant but dim light on each kick off of the yellow wire. The post said it should be very brite. However, it went into no further detail. I have sprayed ether into the cylinders and get it to run 1-2 cycles but nothing more.
Any suggestions?
