would that trinity setup be better than putting the stock carbs back on?

what about this. what if i went to 21 or 22cc domes and or used a single 35mm pwk???

i'm running 55 slow jets,155 mains,and standard D series needle with clip in center. it runs good,as far as idling, just has no powerband to come in when i give it the juice.

i'm pretty sure engine has stock guts. all i've done is added 4 degree timing key,sst fmf headers,powercore 2 muffs, 35mm pwk's, stock reed cages with vito's carbon flex stage 2 reeds, prodesign cool head with 19cc domes which i were told were for a stock engine. and i don't know what plug chopping is.that's pretty much it. I live about 300 ft above sea level and jetted for that. I even ran it once came back, checked the plug and it was a good tan color. so i'm not sure what to do.

Hi everyone. I finished my small tune-up today. I took off my stock tors and stock carbs and stock head,and reed valves. replaced head with pro design cool head, 19cc domes, 35mm air strykers, and vitos carbon flex stage 2 reed valves. Crunk on second kick. idles good. Ran up the road and came back. NO POWERBAND KICK?? I left the old low octane gas in it. Would low octane fuel with this set up cause the powerband not to come in???

I talked to sudco. 25.00 minimum order for the 4.50 idle screw.

if anyone has an extra idle screw for a 35mm keihin aistryker, i would like to buy on. mine was plastic and broke of inside. luckily needle nose pliers were invented.

so they had 50 stamped on top?

i measured across the inside of the cylinder wall and it measured at 64mm. i just didn't know about these pistons. and the walls look honed out before?

I CLEANED THE TOP OF MY PISTONS TODAY, GETTING READY TO PUT A DIFFERENT HEAD ON. AND WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A STOCK ENGINE, NOW I'M NOT SURE. THE PISTONS HAVE "50" STAMPED ON THEM AND AN ARROW POINTING TOWARD THE FRONT. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KINDA PISTON AND SIZE THIS IS?? THANKS FOLKS

yeah. that's better. some pictures i seen had 1 hose connecting to the straight up vent on the left and connecting the other end to the vent on the right. now what you said makes sense to me. thanks

i hope you all are understanding which ne i'm talking about. i've only seen this on the airstrykers. on the carb you've got the short tube that loops over the cap and plugs over a nipple on each side of the carb. but why is there a or suppose to be a longer hose taped to the looped one that's not even hooked to anything. it's just taped on????

what good is the long vent hose that is taped to the short vent line that loops over the cap. it doesn't hook to anything does it? ie.the long one?

hi everyone. i was wandering on the airstryker carbs, are the overflow bowl lines suppose to be connected to one another? one single hose running from one overflow outlet to the other one on the other carb? thanks for any advise

I have the stock studs in my banshee now. but i'm putting a pro design cool head on and it doesn't look like the stockers are going to work. is there any other studs or something i can use in their place besides the $ 40 pro design stud replacement pack?

On my stock cylinders, what domes can i get by with using pump gas? And do i use the stock copper gasket or not with the pro design head? thanks, bmaniac
