  1. I had those nerfs and hated them. Heel kicking to get the banshee started sucked especially wearing a boot. Ripped them back off and sold them in no time. They are well built but the heel kicking problem wasn’t for me and I guess it’s the norm these days. I heard pro armor nerfs you don’t have to heel kick. Just an FYI and that’s the trade off for using them.

  2. If your going 35mm carbs here are the K&N part numbers. Also available at sponsor sites. Loco won’t steer you wrong.

    33-35mm Carbs - RU-1090 - Pre Filter - RU-0520PK - Filter Dimensions 3.5" x 6" **10 Degree Flange Angle**

  3. I bought the K&N oil in the aerosol bottle. Not sure how’d I’d measure 17ml with that. Did I purchase the wrong oil?

Just spray a light coat on them when they need serviced. Let them sit for 30 min to soak. Look on the inside and outside for light patches and touch up where you see fits.

  4. Get modquad rear fender supports for the drooping fenders and get cascade high temp stinger covers for when you change out those air filters. That’s why those crappy filters are on it, to give filter/stinger clearance.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is a pingle? I did a google search and came up with a “pingel” but not sure your talking about that.

It’s a high flow petcock. It keeps ample fuel to the carb bowls so the motor doesn’t suck them dry.

  6. Ok thank you. I have 2 RU-1770’s on order.
Question about the prefilter.  Do I want the precharger or drycharger? I am not going to be riding across deep puddles, but may blast through small areas of mud.

Use the numbers I gave ya. You will be fine.

  7. Good luck, I've had 4 GT stators "on order" for about 6 months. He is so busy I'm patiently waiting for them. To the OP, the stock stator, after DC conversion, is maxed out about 60W. If you need a bigger one before Gary can make them get one from JL Engineering (RM stator I believe and comes with a warranty) and keep your stock one and the tools to change it with you on every trip.

When’s the last time you talked to him? I have two from him and each time it was a couple/few week lead time.
