  1. Ok so like I said Im just helping one of my riding buds with his POS 2005 Raptor 660. Haha just kidding, but really I have just rebuilt his original carbs but now need not to reset the idle(air/fuel) screws and have now idea as how to set them. I tried a thumpertalk.com and it sucks... just like all 4-stroke stuff. But if anyone can help me out with this problem it would be a huge help!!
  2. Hey guys I really appreciate the advice but I did a combustion test and that left-side had wouldnt hold any pressure at all. So I decided to break it down.... Its not good!! HAHA the piston rings on the left side are basically gone!! So dont need anymore help right now unless you know of a shop near Houston, Tx that will do a good rebuild for me. Thanks again thought guys, Mel
  3. Ohh ok. Thanks man, thats what I figured but might as well check. Now, how do I go about checking the stator wires and stator itself?
  4. Well I have the airbox off and I can look straight into the carbs and the slide go up at the same time but they the right side goes up just a little higher than the left... Is this ok? With the plug wires, can i just switch them from plug to plug or do I need to try and switch it all together? Now I will need some guidance from somebody on how to check the stator wires... but from what you say definitely sounds like it should be checked. Thanks man!
  5. well I spent alot of time going thru the carbs, and checking the jets and they were as clean as can be when reinstalled. and yes, the choke tube was on. Thanks for the ideas!
  6. Ok well recently started getting the banshee out of storage and running again. At first I couldnt get it to start at all, and then after new the reeds, new sparkplugs, replaced the header gaskets, and cleaned the carbs out it will start. But the right cylinder runs fine and the left sputters, back fires constantly(left and right if you are sitting on the bike) I checked and it is getting spark and getting fuel... Dont know what to check next...
  7. Ok thanks man! Also where do you guys usually buy/order your parts from?
  8. Ok so at the moment I have the stock reeds in and am planning to get some aftermarket replacements. So I need some advice in order to pick the best for my setup. Also what companies are good and what are some good dealers that car aftermarket parts? Thanks guys!
  9. Ok thanks man. What is the best way to clean the carbs (while making sure to keep them synchronized)? Is there a sticky or anything?
  10. So I have seen a few other guys with this problem where only one side is firing. Now I have recently gotten my banshee and doesnt seem to have much work done to it. So I am just looking for some advice as to where to start looking first... The plugs are good but havent had the time to get into much else.
  11. Sorry i meant the airfilter adapter not intake.
  12. OK so where can i pick these o-rings up at? Thanks man! but another problem I have, is it seems only one cylinder is firing or something because only one pipe is smoking. Spark plugs are new and I dont know where to start...
  13. So I recently get my banshee and my first problem is that the filter is bad. Now it have a Prodesign oval billet intake and I dont know where to find a replacement filter. Most sites just show 1 pic for all the brands and I want to make sure that I get one that matches the oval mouth. Thanks for the help!
  14. So I recently got my banshee and it is a '95 so it has its problems, but first to start with is when riding I have noticed there is an oil leak that is spraying on my right leg. I seems to coming out where the right header bolts to the head. Can I just get a new O-ring?
