Thank's, that sounds like it might be the culprit! and bonus I don't have to split the cases-complete teardown again to check this :biggrin: You made my day! I'll keep the thread updated w/my findings.

Gears 1-4 tested, gets into power-band and pops out of gear. Clutch is not slipping as I have to put it back in gear to move again. Any ideas? siezed clutch push-rod ball? Tranny was rebuilt, double checked for missing gears and spacers/washers originally..
