    kick start

    any 1 have a used kick start for kinda cheap?.
  2. ok, uhh idk i had 30 pilots and i was told that was too big and now its ruuning lean with 27.5s lol.. ugh this damn banshee hahaha.. what would cause it to back fire or w/e out the right pipe. cause when i started it and road it for a about 3mins with out choke them it starts to spit pop w.e then i pulled out the choke and it cleared up any ideas.. i was thinking of just buying the 2 into 1 intake and be done with the whole 2 carbs haha..
  3. i took it out today and i couldn't ride it with out the choke being half way on, i could some what ride it but it would just back fire out the right pipe. and as soon as i would pop the choke out it would go away. any ideas?. i have the 27.5s in there now 2 1/2 turns out on the air screws. http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g296/ron...t=Picture-2.flv i got a little vid it sounds good but its running a little rich..
  4. in them vids i would be lucky if i could ride it it wouldn't run good under load. but i picked up some jugs with pistons and got it running pretty good now. the needles were out out of wack they were on the last clip blunt side and they both had a couple washer pushing up the needles. i moved them to the 3rd clip and it does better. i may try the 25 pilot. cause i dropped the 27.5 in there and turned the air screws out to 2 1/2 turns out. and both carbs are clean and the floats are working fine. what brass bead?.
  5. does it come with a title?. and how much would shipping be ?.
  6. its cool. the needle clip is on the slide. you have to pull that out and where the throttle cable hooks into the slide. there should be 2 screws take them out and you needle will come right out and you will see what clip its on.. the choke tube is just a little rubber hose and you should see where it slides on just on the other side of the choke http://www.rb-designs.com/Banshee%20carb%2001.jpg there is a pic .
  7. ok thanks for the replys guys, yea the filter was a little dirty but its clean now.. yea its a little fat on the pilot jets.. i do have some 27.5 pilots should i swap em in?. the reeds are good they were just replace with boysin reeds. i don't have a air box lid but ill try and get 1 local, i need one any way cause my trails are wet and i don't wanna suck up any water. and i am pretty much at sea level. the only reason i was thinking it was still lean was cause when i pull out the choke half way it seems to run some what better..
  8. i got it to run some what better before i couldn't Evan ride it it would bogg under load and i found out my needles were out of wack.. i have a 280 mains 30 pilots and 3needle clip and 1 1/2 turns out on the aircrews 13:45 gearing.. when i do a cold start with no choke and i try and rev it some it bogs some what but it will still rev up.. it only boggs in the low end when i get into the power band it feels real strong.. http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g296/ron...icture082-1.flv http://s59.photobucket.com/albums/g296/ron...icture081-1.flv you can hear the bog i am talking about in the vid i took this was when i had my old top ends. i picked up some low hour top ends with pistons and it still does it.. and both plugs were wet.. any help would be great, i am tryin to take it out riding on sat and i don't wanna blow it up :/.. thanks Ron..
  9. yea i think it was the needle clips. cause i pulled them to see where they were at and they were at the last clip on the top end they had a couple little washers under it pushing the needle up more. so i removed the washers and put it in the middle clip and it did seem to do some what better under load when running.
  10. i messed with it some more and checked for airleaks i sprayed some wd40 around the carbs and intake and head and there was no spike or anything. it stills sounds bad when i drop it in gear and try and give it some throttle. i am thinking its still lean on the pilot jet maybe.. i may pick up a 32.5 and a 35 and try them out see what it does.
  11. ok thanks.ill try messing with it again today ill pick up a couple new plugs and give that a try also. the choke tube is good i know that cause when i jetted the carbs i forgot the put that on and i started it and it ran like crap then i put it on and it ran alot better.. ill check for airleaks also i guess lol..
  12. i was messing with it i got it to idle better. but it still dies/boggs down under load. now if i pull it out to half choke it gets better so i think i am still lean on the pilot?. what does it mean when it spits or back fires out 1 of the pipes?..

  14. well my old top end was beat both cylinders had ware marks going up and down them. so i picked up a used set with low hours off ebay with wiseco pistons. they looked good i did a light hone and threw them on the motor with new gaskets and i got her together. and i upped the jets cause it was running lean last time thats why the old cylinders took a shit on me.. i upped it to a 30 pilot and a 280 main. and she will start and idle fine but when i pull in the clutch and drop it in gear and go to give it a little gas it just drops off and dies =/.. i did try pulling the choke out half and it pretty much did the same. any ideas what it could be i am not thinking it lean cause thats kinda a big pilot right?. it only has toomey t5s and boisen reeds.. i was told the cylinders were ported but i dont no.. and what is the yellow wire on the wiring harness off the stator cause when i let mine run that wire gets pretty freaking hot ?.

    any 1 have a good wiring harness with a stator and the plate. i don't need the cdi or the flywheel. its for a 01 shee if that matters.. lmk thanks
  16. throw some new plugs in. pull 1 of the plugs out and smell it it should smell like gas if ya sucked up water you should see it on the plug.
  17. ok, did you check to make sure your getting good spark?. i would maybe pull your carbs apart and give them a good cleaning and make sure your main and pilot jets are clean and i would make sure your floats are good..
  18. did you check the plugs after kicking it a bunch of times to see if they were wet?maybe its not getting gas. did you pull the reed cage to make sure the reeds arent warped or broken?..
  19. dont need em any more.. any 1 have a cool head with the studs and the o rings don't need the domes..

  22. does any 1 have a set of jugs with pistons preffably with wiseco pistons. some thing ready to bolt on and ride can be ported or just stock. if it is ported it would have to be trail port.. i have looked on ebay and nothing really caught my eye.. just post or pm if you have some thin thanks.. Ron...
