  1. ill have to re jet it and what knot after i rebuild it. i am thinking of doing a winter rebuild fresh bore etc. as for the stator it had great nice blue spark the last time i checked it. and i took it out for a night ride the one day and it ran great for about 30mins. and it started to bog right off idle so i popped new plugs in and too her for a rip it was good then the bog came back and it started to pop and miss on the one cylinder, then it just shut down and would only fire if i bump started it. so i am gonna guess it was the stator cause i pulled the cover and poped the flywheel off and there was a nice coating of mudd on and in the flywheel and all over the stator. so i cleaned em off and still nothing but there was a bunch of surface rust on the pic up coil and around the stator so ill find out when i get my other stator... sorry for all that lol..
  2. well i pulled the stator cover and i found a lightened flywheel and a stock timing plate. i don't get it it runs damn good the way it is. well it did before i got water in my stator cover and the stator took a crap on me ugh..

  6. yea thats what i figured but it runs awesome when i clean out the bottom end and rev it out in the powerband. i may try some 350 mains or some thing see how it runs. cause my buddy has a mx port job stock carbs with t5s and he runs 290mains and 30pilots and mine still drinks more gas then his?. could my carbs be bored out??. i dont drag my bike i just trail ride mine lol...
  7. what jets are you guys with sb cpi in frames with stock carbs?. well my banshee is running rich on idle/low end. and i pulled the carb and i am running a 25 pilot and a 270 main?. when its warm it takes like 3 kicks to get er fired up.it runs awesome when i clear it out and pulls hard in the powerband. i am 80ft above sea level, drag port, cpi in frames,cool head, 155 psi comp, boysen reeds. and i pulled the plugs and they were nice and wet..

  12. when i ran the walmart lights on my blast, i just picked up a set of 20watt flood lights and they swapped right in..
  13. i think it has boysen reeds, ik there not v force, they are stock carbs with the tors elim tops on em, i was thinking of just rebuilding it and just run it the way it is, or take off the drag ported jugs and send out my spares and have em trail ported and get another pipe. so it would be a little more trail friendly. i am gonna pull it all apart and check out the cylinder walls and make sure it doesn't have a stroker in it, and ill have to hit up a engine builder. would the 2into 1 carb set up be any good for my set up now?.

  19. ehh i just picked up the shee, i didn't run it yet but i did a comp test and both cylinders are pushing 150psi i guess that may be right at the border for 112right?. cause i know when his friend built it, it felt like it had alot of comp i am guessing its a little low for them domes. ill run it tomorrow and do another comp test and see what she has..

  21. ok so i was talking to my friend and he has a 97 banshee he doesn't ride any more. he said he would sell it to me for 1200.. it has a cpi pipes in frames, paul turner cool head 18cc domes, full P&P from east coast atv. wiseco piston rings. has new axle,carrier and swing arm, 18inch rear razrs and much more. the only thing i didn't like is its set up for 112 octane fuel, what would it take to run it on pump gas and make it a trail quad.. and i sold my other banshee that's why i wanted another ..
  22. i dropped the 30 back in, and the right needle had up and down play in it maybe that could cause this?. i had some spare slides and i droped that 1 in and i put the tors tops on so it will idle.. ill try and run it later and see how it does.

  25. are you sure lol. i didn't think the mains effected bottom end?. i have some 300mains i guess ill give them a try...
