Not sure what happened to the exhaust ports. you never know what people have done before you own something. You could try clean it up with a sanding wheel that fits on a dremel.
I have the same thing on mind, I hope it won't affect the performance anyways?I was thinking of leveling the area and later on get the area polished!
I'll get the re-bore to 1mm from a professional!

Hello,
This post is in regard with RD350, I understand it's a Banshee dedicated forum, the reason I posted here is, this topic has been discussed in length here and I need suggestion about the problem I have.
Plz go through the pictures, Give you feedback as to how things look,
Barrels,Piston,Ports and Head Pics
Bike is standing idle since last 4.5yrs,There is layer of carbon down your transfers, does it means huge amounts of carbon and the exhaust is reversing flow and going down your transfers and probably all over crank case and crank?
What could be the reason for it and what is to be done to get it fixed.
There is some damage on roof of exhaust tunnel be cured and made good:-
Damaged Area of roof of Exhaust tunnel
I was cleaning the barrels today, when I realized that the everything is not normal on roof area of exhaust outlet, there are impression of screwdriver hammered to the roof. What needs to done about it?Does it looks bad or worst?
Can this be made right without porting?
Cheers!
