  1. Thanks dude!!
  2. Thats it??? Nothing to unhook?
  3. Anybody got any details on how to get this out?... got a PDF of the service manual but its pretty limited on detail... I have the clutch out for basket replacement and have a leaking shift shaft seal so I figure that this would be the time to do it.... I'm sure that its simple but I need advice.
  4. Just did it tonight.... big bitch.... I put a piece of towel down in the hole to keep junk out and then I poped the outside of the race out... took a magnet and pulled all 15 rollers out. I then took a small pick and drove it between the race and the housing... kept prying gently and tapping until the race started to fold in on its self...once that started to happen, I pried on it with a flat head screw driver and it pulled out with little effore... Afterwards I took my Dremel and smoothed out a couple burs on the surface. Took the shop vac to it and now I'm ready to put the new one in... I'm going to pull the shaft out every couple months and grease the bearing... don't think that the seal keeps things dry in there and I DO NOT want to go through this again... I know a blind hole bearing puller would prob been better but the space was too limited to use mine.
  5. Hello.. Im new to Banshees from Quadzillas and 250Rs... got an 01 with Pro Circuit pipes but otherwise stock... runs great and I'm really impressed with my new quad... got a couple questions to get me started... I have the factory TORS system on my bike but it is disconnected... when I replace the tops of the carbs what do I drill and tap? Is it an adjustment for the slides? Pretty easy? Also I have a seal leaking on the gear shift shaft... are there any tricks to replacing.... I have a clutch that is unbelieveably hard to pull... after reading on here a good bit sounds like the pushrod is getting ready to seize up... what do you guys think... what is needed for this repair....Looking forward to getting to know you guys and helping out when I can. Thanks!
