  1. I plan on bringing it to my shop this weekend when I get back from school, but my concern is that it kind of crushed the beginning of the silencer, like the bend is where the pipe meets the muffler at the weld. I hope I can salvage the rack, considering I just put it on.
  2. So I just got a 6-pack rack a little while ago to hold an extra gas tank because I ride with all 4-strokes and they can go all day on one tank, and I obviously cant. The strap that comes with the rack isnt very good so I threw a tie down on it and snugged it down, like I do everytime. I was kind of beating the piss out of my shee in this sand pit and I could hear the gas tank clanking around. I started ripping up this hill when I heard a snapping noise. So I stopped and jumped off the bike to find everything in the rear end all bent; rack, silencer, and frame. It appears that the strap came undone, wrapped around the axle and got so tight that it bent everything before snapping. I guess it was a pretty strong strap. Im going to have to figure out a new way to hold the tank on good. Now I need to see if any of you guys have a left FMF PowerCore II silencer laying around. I got the frame straightening under control, and Im going to attempt to straighten the 6-pack rack.
  3. I ride only trails as well and I have mine cut. Surprisingly for me, having the fronts cut is worse than the rears. More shit flies off my front tires and hits me than the rears. When I got my Shee the first thing I did was cut them off. Def do it
  4. Call FMF directly and ask them for the bushings and hardware. Its not something they sell on their website, but they have a hardware kit. I just got one a couple months back for $15 plus shipping.
  5. As long as the gasket surfaces are clean and the gasket is brand new, you dont need any sealant or silicon.
  6. This prob insnt the case with yours, but when I was putting new pistons in mine one of the pistons had a tiny burr where the pin slides through and I couldnt get the pin in, so check for that and file it down if there is one. Just a thought
  7. Dam, I hope to not go swimming with my shee. What studs do you use, and how do you put them in the tire?
  8. I have a set of 4 tires with screws in them from a blaster, but I figured the banshee would just throw the screws or chew off the treads. How do you stud the tires with the snowmobile studs? I want to stud the rear tires that are in my sig. Thanks
  9. Im just wondering how many of you guys ride on the ice, and how you set up your shee for it. I want to do it this winter, and I've started putting snowmobile studs in my tires and I just want to know what other mods you guys do. any input would be great, thanks in advance.
  10. Thats how I had it. I was more worried about how the cable is routed from the bars, like if its in front or behind the stem, on the left or the right and what not
  11. Ive been building a banshee from a bucket of parts so I have no idea how the clutch cable is supposed to go. Everywhere I route it doesnt seem to work out, they all look right but the cable restricts the bars from fully turning both ways. If someone could post a picture of how theirs is thatd be great.
