as a mechanic I don't expect him to let me use his tools, I wouldn't let you use mine. I don't think they are all about money. I have known dave for a few years and met jack last spring. I think your statement is not accurate to what kind of guys they are. I would not let sand toys touch anything on my bike. Jack is one of the most experienced with a banshee engine and the stuff those guys are doing with the 4 strokes is unreal. you go to sandtoys and I will go with rooster built. I know that my money is well spent and I know I will get quality work. I was in sandtoys one time and I will not step foot in there again. they are pretty unprofessional and talk a big game but mostly full of shi!. you should listen to your dad he sounds like a smart guy
here is how you do it. it worked for me 2 times. put your max bid in for $175 and if you do not win he will send you a second chance offer and there you go $190 shipped. he always has one on that you can bid on. don't buy a buy it now they are to high.

stuff I have done to cool mine off is put in a boss oversized aluminum radiator, mixed race fuel and added water wetter. I run in the dunes but I would not be running mine over 200 degrees.
I have bought 2 brand new boss oversized radiators off of ebay for $190 shipped. they look almost identical to that one. if you are looking for a great deal
I deal with Dan at patriot racing alot. he us a friend of mine. and in Auburn at Rooster built jack haugen, he built my motor and is a good guy also. I was not impressed with the guys a sand toys in tacoma just by looking in there shop and talking to them when I needed a part. you can't go wrong with jack or Dan. IMO they both build fast quads
the cpis run better then the fatties, they are a more efficient pipe settup so you will need to drop your mains. if it was me I would drop them til it stops sputtering. then you can check your plugs and fine tune it.
it depends where you are jetted at. if you are not borderline on your jetting you should be fine. but I would do a couple of passes with it and check your plugs. but you should be ok.
I was talking to a friend who built my motor today and I asked him about the jetting differences between the t5 and cpis and pro circuits and cpis since I have seen my buudies run rich on the top end after switching from the pro curcuits. he asked me why I thought I needed to jet up and I figured more air more fuel. but that is not the case it is that the cpis burn more efficiently then the others so you may not need to jet up and may need to jet down he told me about having to jet way up for fmf pipes and they are not efficient at all. hope this helps explain it for you. It made sense when he told me
if you are looking at winchester bay, then call discovery point, they have hook ups if you can find a open spot here is there phone number (541) 271-3443
I just put some sand star fronts on mine and they do turn good, they are great in soft sand and trail riding, if you are in wet sand the grab a bit to much, they will pitch you off the quad I was told they do that and had first hand experience last weekend
I have a complete stage iv kit if interested, intake, 34mm carb, cable, air filter and housing. the intake boot is orange so you may want a new one of those, pm me with an offer, worked great
