  1. Well fuck me running. That thread is the only thing I found on Google. And if someone says I DIDN'T need to take them out to P.C. I'M going to 🤢 puke. That's how I got them out, hopefully some fell apart because they were 33 yrs old😠

Blow through the pipe ? Make sure nothing blocking it ? Like a mouse nest? Dead mouse? Etc... Believe it or not. This happens more often than you would think on bikes that set a while. Just trying to think of the not so obvious stuff first.

  3. Is it worth, or can domes be re-cut? Old domes are 18cc (wtf?) Stock stroke. Never ran this engine. Thinking about going 4mil.

Don't know if it makes any difference but I'm near Driveline. Haven't asked yet if they can/will do it.

What exactly is involved in getting custom cut domes?

There’s no chart for anything. Every motor is different. Start high and work down to avoid a big problem.

There is a Mikuni pocket calculator. it calls for one jet size for every 20*f change from "perfect" jetting. achieving perfect jetting is almost an art.

O.P. : It's safer to leave a horse or two in the barn than to push all of them back.

Yes those are definitely it. Only thing that could be different is threading or size but I doubt it. And geez 70 bucks each I think I'd rather order new arms lol.

    Thank you so much fellas

Ya, someone was selling arms that needed joints and figured the same thing. Plus, what about the pivot bearings? $$$

  6. 250 main sounds awful small. Check web page of pipe manufacturer for jetting. It will be for sea level and xx* temp. Compensate for your elevation & temps. You also have to add for porting, air filter, lid/no lid.

Hope you don't have one of those junk eGay cylinders, or you WILL be doing another top end. Some have been known to only last hours, some barely past heat cycles. Do you know if the cylinder and head were retorqued after heat cycles? Very important on a Blasturd.
