yeah i trid the plug lead and hooking it up electrically. but i dunno. its a schmick lookin guage but the vapour wud b better i think. especially with temp and hourmeter on it. thanks heaps fellas

personal preference balistc. i dont really trail ride, more along the lines of speedway and beachdrags. see if ur slightly out with ur changes thats precious time on the track. my banshee makes max power at 8000rpm and torques already starting to drop off by then and u cant just hear and sumtimes feel wen to change. thats y i want a tacho. i put about 8 or 9 wraps on it and it dosnt work. ive tried the orange (negative) and the black wire(positive). i think im going to get a trailtech vapor, least it has everything....

hey it didnt work wrapping that wire around the hei lead.. in australia, we're up to '09 models now. my model was meant to b the last year but they just keep coming out.

it only has a setting to change between 2 cyl and 4 cyl. wich is join 2 wires for 4 cyl wich works fine on my ute and hav the wires apart for 2 cyl...

oh, no it doesnt. unless it goes off pulse width. its a fully sealed unit. u can only change it from 2 cyl to 4 cyl.

r u sure that will work, wouldnt it need an actual electrical pulse? wat do u mean by 2ppr

no its for dc but even wired up to a battery it still doesnt work. its like theres no pulse at the coil negative terminal..
