The bike did rev pretty high but for like 2 seconds before I shut it down, but it started again and bogged after that. ive checked the plugs they look good, they were just changed before that last fatal ride. I couldnt get it out of the pit by myself but Ill try again today and take a look at the carbs.

ive got a 98 banshee. was recently rebuit and had it gone through, seemed to run pretty well. I was out in my pit and some how it ran dry even without switching to reserve... beyond me. but I went and refueled it now it wont start. Im new to the 2-stroke scene, and I went with a banshee b/c of ovious reasons of better power. a few other things is that I noticed that it started to rev pretty high when it went dry, but I was good to kill it before the rpm was too high. another thing that ive did wrong is not turning the gas off when im not using the wheeler. im guessing alot dripped out of the carb over flow while sitting?? my guess would be one of the fuel line are clogged or the carbs are messed up. since ive gotten the wheeler ive used 4oz of oil per gallon of gas. this was the fuel ratio I was told to use by a local yamaha dealer, but I trust you guys on the forum to help me out. thanks for helping the nubie :biggrin:
