I think my stator died. I get no ohms reading between the red and green wires on the stator. Why would the stator die? My shee doesnt have spark now and i have been checking everything. I think one spark plug boot is shot too. only one will ohm out.

What is needle Y151 for? I pulled them out when i was changing the clip position. I have some 5N7 that i'm going to put back in. What is the differance between the two? could this be my cause of mid throtle problems, the engine seems to break up when its between 1/4 to 3/4 open?

Thanks for the reply, I wasn't sure if it was when the rpms just started to drop or just started to rise i didn't want the fuel mixture to lean.

I've been trying to find out the setting for the pilot air screw. Do you turn them out till you get the max rpm at idle, or in till you get the minimum rpm, and then adjust the idle screws for the correct idle? I'm not sure what side of the scale i sould be on.

how do i know if my slides are in backwards, cant they only go in one way?

The clank sound is when it hits the idle screws, If the slides bottomed out it would not idle at all because no air. I got my shee running pretty good now at a idle on both cylenders. The left carb slide is open just a little more than the right side though. This is the only way i could get her to idle good with out flooding the left side out. Is that ok or should they be dead nutz even with each other. I dont have a flow meter to sync them with. They lift at the same time perfectly when i open the throtal.
