  1. I just ordered some V force4 reeds and figured I would need to rejet and after looking over all the different brands of kits I am at a loss! A 6 Sigma is the cheapest and Dynojet seems to be a bit more pricey! I think I need a stage 2 but really need a little advice on which kit is the best...for me anyways! I am currently at 1000 ft with procircuit pipes, kn filter with moded lid. Stock carbs(tors removed) and no port work done, around 85 degrees. So any suggestions on the best jet kit??

  2. Noticed a squeak coming from lh rear tire, gave it a shake and it has a lot of play. Removed the hub and looks like the axle splines are worn pretty bad as well as the hub spines! I went around axle spline a few times with Teflon tape and it tightened up but I know its a temp fix. Is there any other fixes then replacing the whole works?

  3. My bike was running great and i was always told "if it isnt broke dont fix it"! But!,i had a tors removal kit sitting around and finally decided to put it to use and install went great. Synced the carbs, adjusted idle, and removed unneccesary tors wiring. Test ride after install in my small yard everything seemed great maybe a little better throttle response in first. Went to my track to open it up and i have noticed a slight bog in second and third gear @ lower rpms. Before install even the slightest blip of the throttle it would respond and now it has this mass airflow sound/bog and its not serious but it makes me wonder if its just the kit difference or if i did something wrong! Cleaned carbs very well and still runs and idles great except for this slight hesitation now! Any thoughts or suggestions would be great!

  4. I just got new arms and hiems, replacing the old LS arms. The old ball joint stud is 14mm@ top and 12mm@bottom,my new heims are slightly small about 11mm and 13mm.I know it doesnt sound like much but they are hella loose! I have been reading about reaming and wonder if this may have been done to my spindles.I was searching for new ball joints or heims but having a hard time getting correct stem/stud size so i was thinking if my spindles had been reamed maybe it would be cheaper to just buy used factory spec spindles instead of a whole new set of joints? Any thoughts or maybe a measurment of the factory spindle stud hole to compare to mine?.....purdy plssss!

  5. ok guys new to the site and i like it! anyway i am doing a rebuild on my 99 banshee top end. rebuilt carbs new boyesen reeds and wsm pistons 64.50 and gaskets. just wondering if anyone has any useful tips or things i should do to help on the rebuild. this is my first rebuild and so far its going good.

hi, im new to bhq and banshee's, bought mine bought a year ago and im still trying to wrap my mind around the twin cylinders.I read this thread and it got me puzzled!i didnt know the two cylinders were actually connected, the gauge in one cylinder and the inflater in the opposite?is it just crankcase leaking that is being tested? sry for sounding dumb, just dont understand how the pressure flows to both cylinders?
