  1. Ok, i was wondering what type of fuel consumption yall are getting out of a full tank. time wise, how many hours ride time do you get on a full tank, and what motor mods. Also what should I get out of a full tank. these are my mods. new rings/pistons shaved head, toomey t-5 pipes boysen carbon fiber reeds. reed spacers, dual k&n filters no air box. tors removed

  2. Ok I was riding my quad today (bent handlebars and all) and it was running great I put the 300 mains in it and it was still bogging a little at 1/4 throttle. I started hitting some snow drifts and then I hit one a little too fast and jumped it maybe 4 ft high, (shocks didn't even bottom out) then all of a sudden my quad just stalled out, I checked the plugs and one looked a little lean (light tan) the other was a little rich (dark brown) I checked for spark and none. I am stumped any ideas? Do tether kills ever go faulty? I have the pro armor one.

I had the same problem as you. (well not the bubble gum) Just yesterday!!! had to push my banshee about a mile through the woods to get it home. I just bought the 4 wheeler this week. tore it down today and noticed the black wire on the solinoid came lose

  3. I am 100% sure it isn't from the coolant reservoir. The piece from the coolant reservoir is about the size of a half dollar. And if that's your cock ring......DAMN! LOL!

yeah, it's not the piece from the coolant resevoir, and it's not a cock ring, at least i hope not because I dont have a cock ring, and i been touching the part, and even smelt it lol. smells like gas

  4. It looks like the lid gasket for the coolant over flow tank at the back of your air box.

What the hell you doing rolling :yucky:

I just bought my banshee yesterday, this is my first banshee 1989 and i have no air box, or any type of overflow tank where the air box went, so im stumped on this one. any other suggestions??? I rode it home after it rolled, and seems to run fine, and no fluids leaking.

  5. did you count right? haha not saying you dont know how to count. but mine is hard to read looks like a H but it is an M wich would make it a 91. And your model cant be a 1980 they didnt start the banshee till '87 so just go back out there and take a light with you so you can see better and use a sheet of paper to follow you counting.

just went out to the garage to look. it is a 89 (k). i knew 87 was the first year, and my banshee has j arms so i knew it had to be A early model, but when i saw (a) i didnt know what that meant. (I guess I need to get my eyes checked) thanks for the quick response!!!

  6. hey everyone, im new to the forum, and also new to owning a banshee, I just picked it up tonight. I have A Question, the tenth digit of the vin on my 4wheeler is (A) i was told it was a 1989, but on the list in this thread an (A) would make it a 1980 model???? If anyone knows what it is please let me know... thank you in advance
