  1. Yeah, I've heard alot of good things about the heads. I noticed your bike has a red frame. I have an 05 banshee white with red grill and frame. Would you recommend a red head, or the polished? What do you think looks better on the bike?
  2. Thanks for your input man, It's greatly appreciated. I'm deffinately leaning in the NOSS direction right now. I'll have to give him a call.
  3. Hello, I'm seriously considering picking up some heads for my shee, I hear pro-design has some nice heads. But I've been hearing alot about NOSS and Chariot. What do you guys think? I ride mostly trails and i do alot of hill climbing. My elevation is roughly 1200 ft. I have vf3 reeds and cages coming, along with the pro-design intake w/ no airbox lid. I also have bills pipes. This summer I'm going to get some porting done as well. What is the best head for me? And what is the highest compression I can run running 93 octane gas and 32:1 gas mix? around 20cc domes? Let me know. Thanks guys you're a big help!!
  4. Thanks for your input man! i really appreciate it
  5. So I wouldn't notice much of a difference if i chose to upgrade?
  6. I just bought a 2005 shee, and it came with Bills full system pipes, they look alright, but i'm not sure if I like the sound  . I'm picking up a pro-design filter kit, so i can remove my airbox lid, and some vf3 reeds and cages, should I consider replacing me exhaust system with the new DMC Aliens, or some T5's? I ride mostly trails, and I love the hard core hill climbing.. Let me know what you guys think.
  7. Thanks so much for all of your advice. Where could I pick up the synchronizor tool? Is it the one that Wesw uses in his youtube video? What size jets should I pick up for a good start? Is it better to learn to jet it yourself? Or have it brought to a professional? Thanks guys! Would this kit be sufficient for all my jetting needs? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DYNOJET-KIT...sQ5fAccessories
  8. Oh alright thanks man. Well how about the carb deal, can the cylinders have two different idle speeds? or do the idle together? How do i adjust the idle?
  9. My elevation is 1,666 FT, would you recommend taking the air box lid off, or do you think the air flow is good enough with it on. I thought the snorkel seemed rather constrictive.
  10. I'm not sure what my elevation is, or how to find out? Thanks for your help, did the reed cages/reeds make a big difference for you? Where could I find this filter? Does it eliminate the needs for the air box lid?
  11. I just bought a 2005 Banshee, my first small issue is I think that the bike is jetted rich it has Bills pipes on it and bigger jets in it, I'm not sure exactly what size. The bike idles low, and if I'm not running it hard, or if I'm running it in low rpms the left cylinder coughs and misses. There is little power in the low rpm range, but it seems to clear up and run good higher in the rpms. I need to constantly rev the engine while I'm not on it to keep the left cylinder awake. The previous owner told me I may need to check the air to fuel mixture. I just think it's jetted rich. What do you guys think? Also I don't know what screws on the carbs adjust the idling or fuel mixture, I do not have the owners manual. Also when you adjust idling is it possible to mess it up so that one cylinder will idle faster/higher than the other? Or is the idling linked? My second major question is I plan on installing V Force 3 Reed Cages with Carbon fiber reeds. I ride trails in Pennsylvania and I stay out of the mud as much as possible. What is the best air box/air filter mods for trail riding/hill climbing. I've seen some kits that eliminate your air box all together, but I'm not sure if that is such a good idea because I will be in dusty/snowy conditions at times. Should I wait to rejet until I've installed the reeds, cages, filter, and airbox mods. Would the bigger jets be more likely to run better with these mods? I've owned a fourstroke for 10 years, this is my first two stroke, and I love it. I just need some guidance, all help is appreciated!
