  1. I'm going to pick it up Saturday and mess with it a little before I agree to buy it. I will check the slides and see if they are closing. I talked to him last night and he said they are 28mm carbs not 26's. But they aren't stock. They are aftermarket. Anything else I should take a close look at before buying a Banshee? Thanks for everything...
  2. I have a chance to buy a 02 Banshee with a 99 Duncan race engine and am really wanting to find out this problem before I take this thing on. The owner states that when you start it, it goes to wide open throttle. He says all I need are the Tors kit and that will fix the problem for around $50. Sounds great to me. I can buy it for $2000.00. Here is his description: Hear are the pics Its a 02 frame with a 99 banshee duncan race engine its a 370cc .Power head ,pyramid reeds (duncans own version). Its was a good running bike but it does need the T.O.R.S carburetor caps that eliminate the electronics. When it starts it wants to go wide open then shutdown then wide open then shutdown. What needs to be done is to get on ebay and buy some 34 mm carbs and throw away the stock 28's the bigger carbs would make this bike scary. Or you can keep the 28mm carbs and just add the Tors kit to fix the problem as well........id take 2k the way she sits.... Now I have seen this bike run before and it was pretty awesome. It has sat for over 6 months because he had gotten another Banshee and had spent all his time and money on it. So do you all think this sounds about right or what? Thanks for your help guys....
