  1. ok banshee blew up not a big deal haha just wondering what works with what to replace. i got a 4mm hot rods stroker crank i had it on the stock cylinders with the spacer plate. what aftermarket cylinders work with the hot rods stroker crank. i see that it says that the vito's don't but was wondering it the athena kit will if i use the spacer plate. also other than ebay where might ya buy them. or is it easier just to put new sleeves in my stock cylinders and use the spacer plate. also what jetting is anyone running for a .80 over set up at sea level. i've got a boost bottle, and fmf gnarly pipes.
  2. yup carbs are stock. what size should he have? and where do ya get them?
  3. the bike ain't hard to start it starts very easy first kick everytime. ok i also forgot to mention that we are at sea level and less than 1000ft. he was thinking pilot jet.
  4. ok this is my buddy's banshee. here's what he did he put in a hot rods stroker crank, bored .60, it's got k&n, jetting i'm pretty sure 240 main, boost bottle, fmf gnarly pipes bike works good other than it's lazy bottom end till the powerband cuts in. it starts perfect and idles amazing before he put the stroker crank in it worked good bottom end. just wondering if that the nature of a stroker crank?
  5. ok buddy's bringing his compression tested down after so i'll know then. ya gotta hold it at 1/16 throttle to get it to stay running and ya i messed that up i got the idle turning in
  6. how many psi's should it have?
  7. i just put the stock jetting in it last night just to try it to see what it does and it acts the exact same as if it has the kn kit in it. there is no tors on the carbs they are gone. i checked the plugs with the stock jetting and it is tan so it ain't running lean. it's a carb issue why it won't stay running i'd say. got the idle screws adjusted way out and it still won't idle it should at least idle fast
  8. bike has stock head pipes with cobra slip ons, jetting is main 200, pilot 25, needle clip on 3rd position and has kn air filter with an outerwear. air box is all stock no holes drilled. elevation would alwasy be under 500ft. also back fires out of the right side. motor was supposedly rebuilt by the previous owner but that dont mean much with a 2 stroke. it's not bored out i know that for sure. plugs are tan after running tonight. pretty much gotta tow it to get it to go everytime or severly kick ur guts out
  9. got a 2000 banshee bought it from a guy that didn't know how to get it set up now i can't get it set up. it's is brutal hard to start and will not idle at all buddy said it had a k&n kit in it and it worked fine once it was going but wont idle at all. so i bought a full stock carb rebuild kit and put everything back stock pilot's, mains, needles everything and still have the exact same problem it did not help at all. the carbs are synched what do i need to do to fix this?
