well i rode it with the 350s and ran good maybe a little sluggish on taking off, i havent done a plug chop but i pulled the plugs and on the rim and down in the plug looked pretty black and the porcelain was like brown.. rich??

1998, ported cylinders and cases, crank trued and welded, cool head with 20cc domes, 27.5 needle, 350 mains, stock carbs, kandn filters, +4 timing plate, fmf sst exhaust, v force reeds. Is that a good starting point or should i go down more like 340 on main for temps around 50 degrees..

hey thanks that makes me feel better, i noticed that your from oklahoma, im from kansas and need some advice on my jetting, i just broke the motor in and have about 1 tank ran through it, i think im running rich, i have stock carbs, port work on cylinders and cases, cool head, with 20cc domes, +4 timing plate, oh by the way its a play/dune port (mid), vforce reeds, kandn filters without air box, right now im running 350mains and 27.5 pilot, its been around 50 degrees. whatcha think??

im not sure if ive just havent noticed it before or what but im noticing a vibration coming off of idle, my friend said thats normal they all do that, is that true. it even looks as if my motor is shaking at the head.

ive got a 98 shee with a play/dune port, cool head w/20ccdomes, +4 timing plate. trued and welded crank, running stock carbs, i have 27.5 needle, with 350 main jets. ive got fmf sst exhaust, kandn filters, v-force reeds. live in midwest, temps around 50 degrees.. havent done a plug chop yet. is 350 too rich on the main??
