Does any one know where I can get a decent cdi for cheap or is there a way I can test it befor I go and buy a new one?

The cdi will do that? I thought it would not run at all. Could it just be a coil or I have also heard it could be the stator.

I have a 99 and it will run on one cyl i can pull a plug wire off and it will run on one cyl it dosen't matter which one. I loaned the wheeler to a buddy and he said he forgot to turn the switch to run just wandering some ideas on what could be wrong.
