Yes, it will be a Cheetah Cub. It will ONLY be raced a the drag strip. We have no sand in ALaska. Bummer! Snow, snow and mud. My buddy built his drag quad laast summer. He is one of those 4-stroke geeks. He built his own stretched frame. It looks damn good but he keeps popping chains. I so badly want to smoke his 4-stroke this summer.

My banshee has boyson reeds stock carbs open aluminum air box duel carbs coolhead with 20cc domes . My question is. Is it worth buying this kit? :geek: Here is the description.......Here is a set of cylinders with pistons and rings for a Yamaha banshee. They will fit all years, and they are the 404 kit. pistons measure out to 68.00 mm and are in excellent condition, rings also look like new. I bought a large amount of banshee parts, and never used these. they look to be in good condition, however I have never run them. So for that reason I am selling them as-is. Cylinders look good, could use a honing from sitting on the shelf, but otherwise the bore looks great. pistons look like they were run maybe once or twice, rings like I said look like new. It does look like someone did some port work on these cylinders, but as I said I just stuck them up on the shelf and never did any research on them or ran them.

Looks like I also have a bad piston on the right side. Burned to the first ring on the exhoust side. I think that the crossover choke tube must have been pulling air. OOPs. Lesson learned. Cheap fix. The left side is in perfect condition. Huh

My bike has fmf gnarly pipes, Boyson reeds that I checked and good. The carburetors are tuned to 0 degrees F. Ice racing in Alaska. Open aluminium air box with duel filters. It has a adjustable timeng plate at 4 degrees advance with rickey stator. I just checked the stator and some water must have got in through the wire grommet. Cleaned and re installed, did nothing.
