the porting for both the cylinder and piston were done at the same time. the bike pulls really hard when jetted right and with the right carb

i have the stock intakes. the ears were cut off due to v-force 3 reeds. the crossover tube just has rub marks theres no dings or dents i also have brand new upp 35mm carb boots

im looking for a throttle cable for my 35mm carbs. i have a brand new stock 1 but its too long. if anyone has 1 for me preferably new or 1 with not so many hours on it ill take it. thanks

well if your going to buy new cylinders look in the for sale section and buy from a good known person that wont sell u shitty cylinders. as far as the bottom end i would still go through it because once you redo the top end the piston rings need to seat right and if you pull them off to do the bottom end soon after you dont wanna run into any problems when you put it al back together. go through the whole motor now you should have plenty of time before your trip. if the motors out already you should do it right the first time and youll be able to know what the condition of the whole motor is in. post pics of the stock cylinders and whatever probs you run into. im sure we will have an answer for you. but if your banshee is stock from 87 there are gunna be some worn parts that you dont want to fail or break. im sure your crank bearings are gone also. go the safe route man

forgot to add that if your doin the cylinders you might as well get them ported. youll get the most hp out of that and itll be more of a beast

whats the bore on the cylinders? asking this cuz u might just need to get them bored to the next size or resleeved instead of getting new cylinders. you dont need to split the case to do just the top end but what year is your bike and how many hours you think are on it. might be time to do the whole motor and check everything. i would do that instead of doing just the top end. otherwise your gunna be doin double the work cuz youll have to take the top end off again and replace the gaskets and itll be a waste of money. id get some v-force 3 reeds for the trails. youll have better acceleration and throttle response

I don't plan on riding through any water but if I came across some I will def crawl through it lol but will the pods suck in enough air for this setup? and if I shud run the pods does anyone know what the part number is? thanks

I need some opinions on wether or not I shud run k&n pod filters. ive heard different things and wanna know if these are right for my setup or if I shud run the stock airbox. my banshees a 4 mil stroker with dune ported cylinders and ported cases, nos cool head with 21cc domes, cpi pipes,and 35mm pwk carbs. the reason I have to ask is cuz I don't have a computer right now to search I only have my phone and its a bitch to search anything on that so if you can tell me directly what I shud do or send me the thread if this was already asked. my banshee is mostly for asphault right now but might do some trail riding
