  1. Hi guys,

     

    I recently bought a pro shift from from someone here in BHQ. I heard a lot about mod with the pro shift. So my question is, should i take down the pro shift spring in or i should let the original one if i mod my star? If i mod the star should i the neutral nub ? Does the shift shaft mod will be too much ? Where can i find pic of the shift shaft mod.

  2. I dont know about you guys.. but I found myself in more bad situations from the twist then I have from a thumb.. I switched back to a thumb after my last near accident that could have costed me ALOT of money... lol

     

    There is a few mods that can be done to lighten the pull on the thumb throttles..

     

     

    Can u tell me wich mods u can do to lighten it ?

  3. Ok...if my pickup gaps are not correct wouldnt it have the problem on both sides? I will be checking compression in the next couple days. I have checked for air leaks by sprayin all around my intake, etc. I have spark on both plugs and have tried switching my plug wires back and forth, still left side has the prob. I have also bought new caps to see if that was it, and no its not. So I will be checking my compression soon. Thanks for your great ideas, keep them coming and in the meantime, ill check my compression. PS...as far as the carb goes, it is freakin incredible! So easy to adjust once you figure out how to(we have all been trained with the conventional carb style so it takes a bit) I have a feeling I will like it even more once my left cylinder works.. lol

    I've got a similar problem, my compression was 150 on the left cylinder and..... 48 ont the right one. So I have to make a top end job, the upper ring of the piston was broken and so, broke the piston as well. Everything else was ok

  4. Hi guys

     

    I would like to know what you are thinking about this. My low end very suck. When I start in 1st gear, it's like if I were in 2nd, There is no low torque, but my mid and top range are ok. actually, my pilot are 32,5, main jet is 290, 4th groove on the needle. I've got fmf fatty exhaust with t5 silencer, no lid and KnN filter, +4 timing. So do you think my pilot is too rich or too lean ?? Thanx a lot
