I'm in the same boat.. I need to replace the Needle Jets and Jet Needles on my VM26SS carbs Is it possible to match the standard numbered generally available Mikuni ones (from places like Sudco) to the OEM ones ? I think the Needle jets are 183 series ? so would the 183 Series O-8 be the go ? I guess a close match on the #5 series needles would be ok ?
