Thats the thing though, I wont be able to get him to jsut go buy something. If we can build it out of something he has, it will be easier to get him on something new.

You must have never ridden a Polaris Scrambler, banshee suspension is better by probably 100 fold.

Is there other websites that are geared more torwards what im trying to do?

Ive been searching around for a answer, but havent found anything. My dad isnt up for shifting a quad, so he rides a POS Polaris scrambler that is about ready for the scrap pile frame and suspension wise, but it still runs good. We were thinking of putting the motor and trans in a banshee frame so he would still have an automatic but have a good suspension and frame. Our question though, is what are the guys that put snowmobile engines in thier quads using for a gear box after the CVT set up? The one we have out of the Polaris doesnt look like it is going to fit with out extensive frame modifications where the swing arm mounts. Are they using something better or just cutting and modding the frames to be what they need? Any info or links would be great. Thanks Bill.
