  1. I have a set of trail tech torch lights to put on my buddies banshee for him. But Im trying to locate the adapter I need to fit the banshee stock light mount and adapt it to use the stud on the trail tech.... these must be easy to find I would assume but am not having any luck....
  2. Ok, so I havent really looked into this for awhile, but I started studying this: and it looks like if everything is working except the headlights switch and on-off switch that the only 'common' wire is the black ground coming from the stator. Is this just a wire coming from the stator next to the four pin connector coming from the stator to the cdi? Im stumped, someone must have ran into this problem before..
  3. Yup, now that you say that, there are bullet connectors for the headlights... I ground the pc off the coil mount, still no help.... any other suggestions? I only did a frame swap, and all connectors are connected...
  4. Yeah, Im unsure of where to start on it, it fires and runs great, just wont stop running great unless I kill it or pull the 4 prong plug above the stator! lol Also, I think this is a late 80's model (not sure of what exact year) and there is no connectors for the lights or light switch on the wire harness, its all one solid piece... is this normal or has it been cut/spliced and the splices are under the electrical tape covering the wire harness?
  5. Anyone have a picture of this tab? I cracked open the switch cluster and only saw to piece of metal, one seemed to only hold the wires up out of the way, so I bent the other out, but still no luck....
  6. odd.... there isnt a second black box by the coil on this bike....
  7. First off, I will start off by saying this is not my bike, its a buddies and I am not a 2 stroke guy... I did a complete j-arm to a-arm frame swap for a buddy of mine. Everything went pretty smoothly, a few stuck bolts etc, but nothing too bad. Now that I have it 99% complete, I went to fire the motor to make sure everything is working correctly and found out that the dash switch (headlight switch and on/off switch) is not working. Im unsure of the year, but there is no keyed ignition, if that makes any difference. I figured I missed a connector somewhere, but I search and search, and I dont remember taking one apart. Where should I start on this thing, the motor runs great, so I must of missed a ground somewhere, or the new powder coat on the a arm frame is stopping something from making a solid ground... what ground would effect the headlight and on/off switch cluster?? Thanks everyone
  8. A buddy of mine has a raptor 660 with a TON of aftermarket parts... He lost interest in it, bought a rhino. After a few trips to the sand he wanted to hit the treeshots again so he picked up a cheap banshee from a friend. Question is, short of us taking a bunch of parts off the raptor and holding them up to the shee, does anyone know off the top of their heads what transfers? Does the axle? I thought I was told the shee axle isnt dead centered...
  9. Whos got some for sale??
