I plan on racing the IXCR (Indiana cross country racing), and MWXC (midwest cross country) Series this year. I am gonna use this thread to post pics and info throughout the year. Figured it would be something to have in the thread since the XC/Hare Scramble Forum is pretty dead.

You can go ahead and count me in. I should be there on my banshee. 3/4 peg bolt holes are stripped on this frame I just had powder coated. Cylinders came out of the machine shop today. T-shee is moving right along on the bottom end. Check out his PC work. Very nice.

One thing I saw is labeling. Like on the grill page, I think you should add Banshee in front of like stock grills. http://www.jdscustoms.com/product-category/grilles/
You have yfz450, raptor, ect in front of the others. It will just help people understand better that don't know you are mainly about banshees.
Also, if you could add a page for customer rides that would be a way to show off your products installed and what it might look like. Not sure how long it would take for this to fill up server space though.
The customer rides section would be a nice feature to show off some of the products in action. If server space is an issue, maybe link them to a photobucket account or something external to save on space. Not to knowledgeable on how exactly that stuff works tho.

Soon. I have rear rotor and grille in the works
I'm thinking something for the rad fins with JDS customs stamped out at the bottoms would be nice looking

Well that's good to know, I was just generalizing on average riding, for the weekend warrior. I would probably go A arm if I was racing mx as well.
I ruined all my j-arms riding in the woods. Once I switched over to a-arms I have hit the same amount of stuff with no issues.

Im doing this from my cell so i cant , has black plastics , black itp rims , someone spray painted frame n swing arm bright orange so im pc black has adjustable timing plate should i stay at zero or advance ? I have all new gaskets an seals wiseco crank and wiseco .30 over pistons shocks are stock has j arms that are chrome but pretty sure are stock single carb wire harness has been cut into no key or handle bar hi low or kill switch some crappy toggle switches are wireed in
You can post pics from your cell, most of us do. Download and use tapatalk. Its free!
Everyone knocks the J arms, my 87 has them and I honestly don't feel the difference between mine and my buddies A arm set up, the only real difference is you have more after market options like shocks and widening kits, but as far as stock suspension, same basket of eggs IMO
The difference is the strength in the design. I have owned both and the J arms are not as strong as the A arm design. They will bend easier if you hit something and will not hold up to mx type applications. Trust me, I have tested them both

Dude just eBay or part out the bike and you will get better money. You will not get good money for a bike on this site cuz everyone on here is an expert and will pick out every spec of dust, if you get what I'm saying. I know people that have bought banshees on eBay for $4000 that are basically stock bikes with a quarter of the parts yours has. There are plenty of suckers out there. I'm not promoting scamming hahaha just saying people on here know there shit and are not gonna pay that much.
You my friends need to know different people cause them are some dumb-ass's

Is this a new build or did the bike recently run fine and just start having this problem?

Need black tank cover in decent shape. No cracks. Can be a little scratched and such as i am going to paint it. Please pm me with what ya got! Thanks.
-Jon
If your going to paint it, why does it need to be black?
-
nice pick up. Wish I could find one clean around here to pick up. All the ones for sale around here are in rough shape.

We are coming regardless if my bike is done or not. Cruising in the Gator FTW.
Me and a few buddies went to the badlands Sunday. It was a little chilly so we pretty much had the park to ourselves. Good day of riding and getting the kinks worked out. Wasn't too muddy which was nice so hopefully it stays like that for our April trip.

1 Month away!!!!!!

If I switched it to 1 carb would it be less of a gas guzzler and would there be a large decrease in power?
The DMC 916 is a heavy top end pipe, switching to a 1 carb set up would not be a good combo running that pipe set up in my opinion.

Cool, what did you get?

First Race is this Sunday 03/30 for Round #1 of the MWXC. Looks like we are gonna have some decent weather. Hoping it isnt too muddy from the rain we got today and supposed to have tomorrow.
