yeah, but i also read on some other forums that if you have any air leaks it will throw off the vacum pressure.
Maybe you should start with a leakdown test. If you are concerned about air leaks. The "snail" style tool works reallly well for syncing carbs.

Sorry if this is a repost but the seller and the bidders are all crazy.Ebay

My only real works of wisdon on this subject are you will never regret spending money on a roundhouse style carrier.

No idea about the spec but I have no problem with the feeler gauge method. I would recommend putting the feeler gauge in the cyl then putting in the piston and go by feel removing the feeler gauge.

I have the Chariot timing plate that thing is to purdy to hide under the flywheel.

Mainly for trail riding more traction, easier to steer. And any reason to upgrade to a roundhouse style carrier is a good reason.

Nice upgrade!

How does St. Joes compare to Finger Lakes?

First off the workmanship is top notch. Power wise I would say its less power than adding pipes and more power than adding timing. If I remember correctly it added 25 pounds of compression to my engine. If your thinking of a cool head just do a search on leaks that why I went with the stock modified head.

Forgot to add I live in illinois so no big elevation here. And I think it has a 260 main
What part of the state are you from. I run T5s 310 on the main and 27.5 on the pilot. Your probably lean I think Fattys are similar to T5s. Also double check your slides are in the right sides.

I have been wanting to do this. But damn R calipers are expensive.

Worked perfect on my stock carbs. I think with bigger carbs you will need a different adapter. Check out the vidio thats pinned in the video section.

This is my prefered method. Link

I've been running avgas for a long time. It's usually cheaper to run than race gas. Alot of people would not recommend running avgas though. But I've had good luck with it. Oil doesn't seem to seperate from it for a long time. Only reason I would think you would have to rejet would be if you changed the mix ratio or made some changes to the motor. Do you have enough compression that you even need to run that type of gas? If not it might be a waste of money for you.
Dave where do you buy your avgas at? Airport in Quincy will not sell it over the counter.

Tell mom to close her eyes until he gets the hang of it.

450 rear calipers are also pretty expensive. Like CJC I used a rf 450 caliper on a homemade bracket.
Stock rear bracket I tried to modify to work on the rear next to 450 front bracket my creation is the bottom bracket.

Probable didnt make the kind of differance the fronts did but still worth the trouble. If anyone knows if a 450 rear is a direct bolt up please post pics.
