Why even send the head out to get milled? Can't the same be accomplished with a piece of sandpaper and a little time. Why send that to someone who knows how to do it and has the correct tools and expertise. I think the reason most people send their stuff to builders is their experiance. I know I want to put my shit together one time and be pretty close on the setup. Builders have through trial and error learned what works and doesn't, so I'd be more inclined to get some info from Brandon or one of the other builders than from a guy who is learning and and still going through his trial and error process., and they seem willing to give you advice, but you keep getting defensive. And most of what you are stating are your opinions, find someone on here with a similar setup done by a builder, and race them. You get what you pay for. But I guess I'm another mindless drone. Why don't you be a sponsor than you can do my 4mil?

Much improved. Good job, looks great.

I am looking for a set of a-arms for my Banshee. I would the the balljoints to be solid and the a-arms ready to bolt on and ride. I have just purchased a set of YFZ shocks so I would like the a-arms to be stock or close to stock that I could bolt on the YFZ shocks. Please email me pics and a price shipped to Valencia PA 16059 mikefcpd@yahoo.com. Thanks
I've got a set in the garage, I'll try to take a pic and email them to you, might be a little bit.

Our work would "look" pretty much the same but we have a little more range in what we can do with a Banshee head. standard 350 motors, strokers (4mm and 7mm), big bore, cheetah cub, etc. We are also getting ready to test a 72mm bore but that will be pushing it with these heads.
So, you can do a big bore and stroker with a stock banshee head? Say for a 421?

Found myself chuckling at that one too>

JW if that works with a AC six pack rack?

Again, these were JD"S pics. I just copied them here. I think they look pretty good in two-tone. I may have seen one in the post your banshee thread at some point, but I'm not sure.

Hey DEcon, there is a pretty nice looking blue and white two-tone in this thread, It's JD's image thread that went up yesterday I think. It's pretty cool the way it's done with the vents having blue in them still.

Just post it up on craigslist as polished motor, carbs, boots, cables, etc. Thats what most people would probably just do. Good luck with it.

I would go with the $599 vitos 392 kit. I WOULD NOT use these kits with a 4mil crank. They actually run worse with a 4 mil due to the exh port timing being too high it seems. All in all if you want a cheap set of cyls, pistons somewhat drag ported they are ok. If it were me I'd steer clear of it.
If you're talking about the vitos kit with the pistons, I think they stopped making them temporarily. I wanted to get the 4 mil one, they are not on ebay or there online store, they emailed back that they have something new coming out. That did seem like a great deal though. To me at least.

You haven't mentioned what "rules" they have at the fair grounds. "IF" it stated 'stock' exhaust you would be limited to cutting them apart and gutting them , =time+$ . You're up against the wall with stock exhaust. Work on traction/set-up and practice. Look into different tires.
i've never cut a set open. Do they have baffles or something to slow the airflow down??? Anyone have a picture?

I'll take a scarf paypal info?

It would be kind of like the shock companies that record what the shock was originally setup for when it was ordered from them, (weight & swingrm) I think it would be fairly easy to record a serial number and what it was for, I'm sure they are doing some paperwork at the same time. Could even help to get something stolen recovered.

I rode mine for like a year with stock pipes and then I got T-5s. Wow what a difference. I goty mine ported a year and a half ago, and wow what a difference. again, Wish I had done at least the pipes the day I bought it. Just get pipes and porting now, you won't regret it. If you really want a sleeper, like I said, the PT pipes in black could be mistaken for stock, maybe do a 4mil with the stock head cut., but you're gonna be over budget. But just do yourself a favor and get at least pipes and porting now, you won't regret it.
-
I think those PT pipes look kinda stockish if you were to get them in black. I think the casual observer may not even notice if they only glanced at them. maybe attach the stock heat guard...

Savage is right, Photobucket is truly easy, I'm cluelless with computers and I'm able to do it easily. I think it changed slightly recently, yu need to click share over your pic now, and than copy the image code.

That sounds like a rough weekend. I've had a brutal winter, everything that could go wrong at my house, I keep saying what else could go wrong and shit keeps going wrong, the only thing left is for it to burn down, so I definately feel for you.. Good luck fixing all your stuff.

Do they fit all Toomey silencers, or do you need newer ones?

I agree with that statement, but even having it ported by a builder, you still aren't done. Your whole setup has alot to do with it, unless you send your whole motor to builder, and even than there are still a lot of variables I'd say
