  1. Yes I know the paddles are the wrong way. I just put them on so I could roll it around in my shop. I guess I really should change them and take another pic. If I dont Illprobably get comments on every post I make.lol Im new at banshees not common sense. Oh well at least you guys got a kick out of it. I did pick up some pipes on ebay. Theyre bills. I heard good and bad about them. I havent ran them yet but they look great and they were really cheap.
  2. Thanks , Im glad to hear that stock hardware will work. I could'nt find the jetting info I needed on here but, I did find it on the bills pipes web site. They have a pretty easy guide with part numbers and all. Hopefully they are right about the jetting.
  3. Im new to the banshee world. Just got myfirst banshee recently. I bought some bills pipes on ebay today for 120 shipped. They came with a K&N setup. I plan to get a set of T5 or fatties later on. I just don't have the funds right at the moment. From what I have seen on here, It seems pipes and K&N make a big difference in banshee's. Even though They're not the best pipes Im sure Ill be pleased with the results. My question is will my stock hardware work with bills pipes or do I need some sort of hardware kit. Also where can I find info on tuning and jetting my carbs.
  4. Thanks for your offers and advice guys. I just bought a set of used bills pipes and a k&n setup off of ebay today for 120. Pipes look like new in pics. I know they arent the best pipes out there but, Im sure they are better than the stock ones. Ill soon find out. Now some jetting and Im set.
  5. Thats a good Idea. I guess Im just exited to see how she runs with pipes. Oh well its not like its slow the way it is. I just know that something simple like pipes filters and jets would do wonders. Your right paying for pipes twice is kind of dumb. Thanks for the advice. My last hobby was building drag S10's and I seemed to always be get ahead of myself with that to. Thought this would be a cheaper hobby. I think I might have been wrong.
  6. Thanks guys, but Im looking for some a little cheaper. I was hoping to find some for around $125. I just want something cheap to use for a couple of months. They can be ugly rusted or whatever. As long as they work well. I plan to buy new chrome t5's after christmas. Thank you for offering. I guess Im stuck with the stock ones for now.
  7. I havent had my banshee very long. Its bone stock. 2 days after I bought it I raced my buddy at the dunes on his 06 predator. His bike has full DG exhaust,K&N,jetted to match. I think he said it was geared down a tooth. He has been riding his bike for a year or so. This was the second ride on a banshee for me. I had quads when I was a teenager but that was 10 years ago. We were dead even 1st through 3rd. once He shifted to fourth he started to pull away. However when I shifted to 6th I started to catch up but we ran out of room. I would have to say if my bone stock banshee can do that well. A piped jetted banshee should rip him a new one easy. Ill soon let you know for sure.
  8. I just bought a 2001 banshee. Its all stock but, it looks like a new bike. The guy bought it new never really rode it much. He gave it to his kid. Mom said its got to go after watching a few videos on youtube. 1500 dollars later. I have myself a basically new banshee. I plan on getting a new set of toomey T5's. The problem being, I'm not made of cash and christmas for two kids is coming up. I would like to find a cheap set for now until after christmas. I know I could just use the stock pipes but, I have heard about how much pipes wake these bikes up and I cant wait. I have about $120 to spend right now. I know someone has to have some old rusted pipes laying around.
  9. O  ops, my bad. I did'nt see that some one had already posted this topic.
  10. what do you guys think of the new 2009 banshee plastics.(in europe) I found some pics on a european web site. I personally like the 07 and 08 red and orange colors a lot better. They still look good though.
  11. fullbore site says the grille is the one that will come with all of their 08 plastics. donkeypuncher: Your bike will look great blacked out with those plastics. Are you planning black rims also? It will definately stand outat the dunes. When I get mine Im planning some black flame airbrushing. I think the grille will have to be black also.
  12. new green plastics on the fullbore web site. They look great and will be one of my first upgrades to my new banshee.
