Thanks for all your help guys I bought a set of Boyesen reeds yesterday and fitted them and the bike ran like a pile of junk. I found that the balance pipe between the two carbs had come off. I hooked that back up and that fixed it a little but after a while it got worse and worse. I ended up taking the carbs off and i found out that they were full of sand. I must have disturbed the sand that was inside them when i put the reeds in. I took the carbs apart and cleaned out the hand full of sand that was in there blocking up the pilot jet. Put it all back together and it runs like a champ. It is still a tiny bit rich but i dont mind that just to be on the safe side. It is still a little flat down the bottom (compared to my brothers 'shee which has the same mods except FMF pipes) so i will look into a +4 timing plate to fix that up.

Hi all I am new to the forums. Im from Perth, Western Australia I have just bought a 2004 Limited Edition 'shee with K&N filter w/outerwears, boost bottle, Platinum Pro Circuit pipes and jetted to suit but it seems to have a flat spot in the lower RPM range. It hits like a hammer from mid range onward but it feels like there is a flat spot down low Is there anything i should check or anything i need to buy to fix it
