Military's 100% right. I do most of my Banshee riding in Glamis with about the same mods as you. I dropped a tooth up front and I do every dune out there in 4th. China, Olds, etc. 5th gear sometimes on a REALLY good run if the whoops aren't too bad. 11 year old all stock suspension so whoops kinda kick my butt lol.

Lol well it's getting in there somehow haha. You're right though, I'm going to buy one and use in the next week or two and see what's up. I KNOW I didn't pour any of my 2-stroke oil in there the last time I did the tranny fluid, bout halfway through last season. Somehow, it's getting in there.

Hey guys, how's everyone doing? So get this, I drained my Banshee's transmission fluid today to change it and get it prepped for the desert this weekend and low and behold... there's DEFINITELY a couple of swirls of my lovely dark amber 2-stroke oil in the drain pan sitting on top the transmission fluid. Unlike the Blaster you have to split the case to change the crank seals don't you on the Banshee? Or does anyone else have any idea how 2-stroke oil is getting into my transmission housing? This ever happen to anyone else? Any input would be great at this point. I'm going to go ahead and run it this weekend (it was doing great last season) but I'll start pulling the top end apart next week. Needs it anyway. But yeah, am I going to have to split the case too probably? Thanks guys!!

Update! Okay so, I have now done the following to my jetting... 350 mains (rich I know, just starting safe gonna work down) 27.5 Pilot Needle 3rd clip TORS Idle knobs 4 turns out from fully seated Now, I HAD the air screws 2.0 turns out. BUT, if I babied the throttle in about 1mm (about 1/8th throttle or a little less) I had a slight bog engine would slow down and go whump whump. So, I turned the Air screws all the way and that seemed to clear up the bog. So my first question is, should I go up to a 30 pilot? This bike isn't all that heavily modded My 2nd question is, with my current jetting, if I'm sitting in neutral idling and I rev it up as it comes back down I hear a a couple VERY distinct pops coming from the front of the bike. (The cylinder itself or the pipe I can't tell) it's not coming from the silencer. Is this just normal 2-strokeness or am I detonating or something? I have it jetted fairly rich at the higher throttle position, shouldn't be lean at ALL. I'm leaving for Glamis this Friday and I wanna make sure this thing doesn't blow up on me. Thanks guys! Really that low huh? I've been hearing all sorts of figures. One guy was telling me 350 mains and 30 pilots. Seemed rather rich to me. 280-300 sounds better to me. Just wanna be sure. Was that a setup you were running before Slo?

Hey guys! Hope you're all doing well. Just jumped on-board the Banshee bandwagon with a Banshee I got this summer. Took it out to Ocotillo this weekend and I was DEFNITELY running WAY too rich. Just wanted to get you guy's opinions on what a good jetting setup would be. Modifications are the following... FMF Fatty Pipe and and Power Core 2 Silencers K&N Filter and outerwear NO airbox lid or snorkel. As of right now that is it. Just the basic bolt-on mods. And my ELEVATION of riding will be between about 0-1000 feet and being the desert anywhere from 60-100 degrees Fahrenheit. I was still running stock silencers this weekend in Ocotillo, and was using 310 main jets, needle at stock position, 25 pilots and air screws about a turn out. Thing was taking forever to rev up into the higher rpms and had hardly no low end pull. FMF's website recommends 25 pilots, stock 3rd clip position on the needle, and 260 mains for my area of elevation with their pipes and silencer and NO snorkel. I of course have NO airbox lid or snorkel and am also running the K&N. What do you guys think a good setup would be? Thanks in advance guys! Sean
