Top end is like 3 months old leak down was good timing is at 4 its a serval 165 psi running av gas

yea my straights / hinson set up was bought back in 06 i think... so it has quite a few years on it... the basket is just starting to groove now.... ill be buying a new hinson with springs... i think they quoted me 350 total.. the springs alone are 89$
yeah my basket as been in a 10 super cub then my 4 cub and now my 10 serval she had miles on her. She was starting to groove i ignored it then i broke fibers. i tried to smooth it out but the broke fibers made a couple realy deep indentions, i think she toast now. i'm prolly just gonna throw the hole hinson setup with gears on ebay...

damn close i ended up adding one ball to the "progressive" grooves, because i had a lil more slip than i wanted. All good now on the lockup.

Have no problem buying the right basket
I just was unaware they were diff I already ordered a pe basket.... Guess I'll just run stock gears

Yeah i had it for like 5 years it was in the bike when I got it but look at these gears they look totally diff

i wasn't aware that the gears where diff and i already ordered a pe basket. I am constantly breaking fibers and i already swapped out everything else out. Also wasn't aware u cud get jus the hinson basket.
Tricked are you saying the bosses on the PE basket are too tall? Also i tried to line my old gears up and the bolt holes are like an inch off

i'm lost here bud i just took my gears off my hinson and they look totally dif than stock. I'm hoping someone who did the swap before will chime in

anybody ever take the str8 cuts off a spring loaded basket and install on another basket?I been having problems out of my clutch so i'm thinking of swapping baskets with a diff billit one

anybody run tz bearings on both sides? i have been for awhile, just noticed most people run maxload... is this bad or what
