yeah on one shift fork on the side of it there was a small amount of wear and it looked like it had been hot. but i went ahead and ordered all three just to be safe because i dont wanna have to split the cases again any time soon haha. Good luck to you also.

thanks for the help grim reaper, i ground the shift star and tried it again, with the trannsmission gears out with just the shift drum in it i can shift threw all gears but when i put the tranny gears in it wont shift, all the gears are in good condition what should i look for on the shift forks?

ok so i was riding my banshee the other day and it got stuck where it would only go between 3rd and 4th gear i belive, so i got on here and searched the forums and saw where people had problems with the shift star, so i pulled the clutch cover and everthing seemed to be fine including the springs so i pulled the motor and split the cases and it will only go between like 3 gears when i stuck the shifter back on but the shift forks dont look bent or anything any ideas what may be wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
