well, i WAS thinkin about buyin one of those until i saw how tore up yours looked. not the greatest craftsmenship. guess ill go with the ricky stator timing plate. i dont know. why would somebody buy a billet one?? for the same reason i guess. bling factor?? :shrug:

if i were you, id go with fmf gnarleys. and depending where you ride trails, id suggest the spark arrested turbine core II silencers. the gnarleys have great bottom and mid range power. also, when a pipe says gold series on it, it just means its nickel plated (doesnt mean the pipe is old).

whatever you do, dont buy grand turismo prologue. the game sucks. theres no damage, so all you do is bounce off stuff, and theres a limited amount of cars to drive (i think 60) plus you cant do any car customizing. the game is lame.

all tubes/hoses and whatever else are connected between and to the carbs. and i didnt take the carbs completely out, i just had them set to the side. (hangin on the frame) i was wondering if maybe a slide in one of the carbs being stuck open could prevent it from starting?

alright guys, so i put the reeds in and now my bike wont start. i checked the plugs and they look good, and i know there is spark. tried starting with choke out but that didnt work. tryied starting with the choke in and gas off and still no go. any ideas?

im tryin to install the vforce 3 reeds on my banshee and i was wondering if you leave the plastic insert in the reeds when you install them?? and if you have to do any modifications to the intake its self like removing the rubber part of the intake that sticks in the stock reed cages. also, do you use a gasket between the reed and intake its self or just between the reeds and the cylinders?

well i knew somebody was gonna say not to base my decision on who ports my jugs by price and im really not. i was pretty much dead set on having the work done localy (by cascade, redline racing, white knuckle...etc) but then i thought about it and figured if the price of shipping wasnt too bad then id like to have the work done by fast or hjr. also, (incase we have any smart asses) i know i spelled weigh wrong.

im gettin them ported and depending on price of shipping i was thinking of sending them to either hjr or fast. thanks fellas.

i was talkin to a buddy and he brought up somethin about bein able to mickey mouse your stock timing plate to enable you to advance the timing. i just baught an sdjustable timing plate and now im wonderin if i could have just modified my stock one and still gained the same amount of performance out of it?? what do you guys think??

i always thought '89 was the last year for j-arms but i could be wrong. i wouldnt depend on wikipedia to give you the correct answer. as for price, he may have been taking in to concideration the mods he has done to it. that may be why his pricing is different than the one you came up with.
