  1. Ok I have had all the electrical connection apart and cleaned ( The coil and the cdi box wires) I have new plugs in. I took both carbs off took them apart and clean with carb cleaner jets and all.. Air filters are clean. I'm getting fuel to both carbs. Choke tube is in. Checked reeds look good and ran good on the other bike. Switched plug wires did not make any diff. But when I start the shee and let it idle to warm up the left exhaust gets hot and the right exhaust blows cool air. When i give it some throttle it stays rapped up for a while like it has to burn extra gas then it idles back down. Right side which is cool air does not seem to blow all the time or as much when rapped up like the left. I did a compression check and both were good. Also when I pull the plugs to look at them after it has ran a little while the one that is hot comes out dry, the side that runs cool is damp with fuel... When I set the air/fuel screw I turn it in all the way and backed it out 1.5 turns. Is this correct to get started?? The bike has pipes and filters is all. The bike ran good before we cleaned the carbs the first time but did not clean the pilot jet so I pulled them back off cleaned the pilot jet and everything again so I know its clean but the shee still is not running right , but we also power washed the engine. This is why I cleaned all elec. plug ins wondering if I had some moisture in one of them. Please help!!!! The first group of us left today to go to Sand Fest I had to stay back and work, Hope to get the shee going before I leave. Thanks
  2. To start, the bikes both ran fine. We powerwashed both bikes, cleaned air filters, pulled carbs off, soaked and cleaned with carb cleaner. Put both bikes back together, now the 92 is only running off the left side and the 03 is only running off the right side. If you put a peice of paper to the exhaust, the side that is not running is sucking air in. Between the two bikes we have swapped every cinerio of carbs back and forth. We've taken compression tests...both test good. Changed the spark plugs multiple times. Pulled carbs, tore apart and checked multiple times. Switched spark plug wires. Switched reeds from one bike to the other...did not make any difference. On the carb from the side that is not firing, we turned the fuel air mixture screw all the way in, didn't make the bike run any different. Pulled the reeds on both machines....they looked fine. Put a new set of intake boots between the carb and reeds...that didn't help. Wondering if powerwashing it got something wet....its funny both bikes ran fine until we cleaned them up....now they both are experiencing the same problem. Could it be something simple that we are overlooking?
