Hello, I'm from Calgary also. On this set-up with 32:1 mix you should run 280 main, stock pilot jet and middle clip on the needle. I have seen your problem before. Before you do anything check if your card slide are not reversed. The slides can not be interchanged between carbs. Make sure the rounded part at the botton of the slide is toward the air filter and the flat part is toward the cylinders. It might sound stupid, but I've seen it many times. If this is the case, you will try to jet it never seem to get it right. Hope this helped.
